I will be rooting for france with all my heart against Portugits. I want to see Ronadlo cry...cry like a baby you F****** weasel.I hope he starts crying then falls over, breaks his nose and possibly knocks some teeth out. I hate the c*nt.
All this doesn't detract from the fact that we simply were not good enough but...
COME ON FRANCE AND ZIDANE!

I totally disagree, Hargreaves tried his hardest but wasnt good enough?? He was by far the best player on the pitch from both teams.
He was not asked to run around the pitch like a lunatic, he was asked to protect the centre backs, and begin attacks...
You never see Makelele run around like a headless chicken, but he is the best in the world at this type of job.
Carrick although defensively not as good as Hargreaves has a much better touch and arguably is the finest passer in the team, he would of been a better choice.
Hargreaves IMO, is much better in a 4-4-2 formation as the more defensive midfielder, where he can use his energy more effectively. But of course that means dropping either Lampard, Gerrard or Beckham, which sadly Sven did not have the balls to do. ;)
Re: England wasn't good enough
I must admit,as a Scot,i'm always glad when i see Hargreaves playing,in the same way as i used to breath a sigh of relief when Heskey was picked! ;)

Do me a favour ;D
Re: England wasn't good enough
Sure it was, he started before the game, no player wants to see an opposition player barge past him and get in the refs face...it is especially provocation when you know the other person is likely to kick off if you do. Ronaldo knew the likely outcome hence provocation hence the wink and pucker.
