They ALL stuck out their chin so poor Tito could knock them out. I mean, why ELSE would Tito amass a 42-2 record and take out so many undefeated champions and former Olympic gold-medalists. It was all just pure LUCK.

:lol: I think you're overstating. Trinidad was a great fighter though. Look at Chavez, he had one gear it didn't make him any less of a fighter.
So what if Tito was one dimensional, since thats true it shows how good he was to get so far before he got beaten. He may have been one dimensional, but dang he KNEW that dimension well. Well enough to get the kind of record he has, he had skill too despite his weaknesses and that makes Tito a better fighter then people wnat to give him credit for.

Reminds me of what Pat Anderson once said about an IPA recipe he recommended - Columbus hops all through - bittering, flavor, aroma.

Mayweather is a totally different style of fighter than Tito...Mayweather's a boxer not a puncher.
Mayweather could suffer a beating just as bad as the one's Tito did...but it's hard to see Floyd getting outboxed as easily as Tito did...much less getting KO'd.
Stranger things have happened...but if Tito came back & looked good against a boxer...sure I'd say that he should stay in the game...but he got humiliated again by another defensive fighter...& he looked bad.
