1. His defence team were inexperienced while cross examining the girl.
2. Examples had to be made especially such a high profile guy
3. Kennedy got off!

You should watch some interveiws with desiree Washington... I love how whne people disagree you get the obligatory..."watch the fight again" or Learn the facts...I feel pretty educated on the trial and facts and opinions of the case so spare me the selfrighteous attitude. The fact is Mike was a known HARDENED criminal at a very early age, he had problems with the law and women his entire career to include the issue with Atlas. He has continued since his rape conviction to have more run ins with law enforcement. He has never shown any impulse control so its not like we are dealing with a choir boy. I for one believe Washington and a court of law found him guilty. So much like the maligned Tito/DLH decision it is what it is. He is a CONVICTED rapist.
