Re: Chico vs Pac @ lightweight...
Game, i feel you man. People just love to jump on a bandwagon. The fact is that Pac's most impressive victories recently have been his last two fights against a worn out warrior. He clearly lost the first fight against Eric and it was a draw against Marquez. He fought a smaller fighter in Larios in his hometown of the Philippines and still got stunned before he finished him. Now all the Pac fans will say that Pac has improved ALOT, he is too fast, strong, etc. But i still see a boxer who is far from being a complete fighter. He still has balance issues when he punches wild, can't fight going backwards, and he still will get hit alot with his style. If some of you want to fool yourself into thinking that he is unbeatable and can even fight/defeat strong punchers out of his weight division...that's fine. Just make sure you don't jump off the bandwagon if he loses against a game opponent. I say all this with no ill will towards Manny. He is an exciting fighter. I just can't stand blind and ridiculous building up of a fighter.

you wanna talk about facts.
the draw with jmm should of been a s.d win for pac...why? ask the dumb judge that admitted it later on he made an error in scoring...weird same shyt happen to rocky vs. mab but that shyt was reverse and gave the win to mab...
second...you said pac can't fight going backwards?...watch the right hook that began the end of valezquez...another example in the second round of em pac 3...pac was going backwards while em attack and then what happened? pac landed the biggest left hook set em wobbly...
third...larios is not a smaller fighter then pac...yea he just came up to 130 but his been having trouble making weight there...he came up against pac much taller and bigger...yea he caught pac on the ropes...what ended up happening though? pac cut him with punches by the end of that round...easily pac cruise to a u.d win...another thing is name a fighter naturally smaller then pac that he has fought at 130...noun! and you talk about a game oppenent? who has pac fought that wasn't game to fight him? noun!
last...pac sure is not a complete boxer...ok? who do you think in his division is? that he won't knock out and beat? pac is a young talented boxer he is still improving...and fact is he is improving...look back when everyone said he was one demensional...do you still see people saying that now?...funny thing is he whoop mab draw with jmm lost to em...when he was still a very young one demensional fighter...if you`re gonna make excuse about em being shot...its only fair to point out pac was still a young one demensional fighter then...
yea I'm a pac fan but he deserves credit...all the hype his getting now he has deserve...so don't bash him until he actully loses at this nearly stage of a prime pacman...
Re: Chico vs Pac @ lightweight...
The draw with JMM should have been a S.D win for pac? Your opinion. Aside from the first round, Marquez outboxed him for the rest of the fight with a destroyed nose. And no...he can't fight backwards. Eric was a shot and tired fighter...PERIOD. You can claim that it was all Manny's power that knocked him down...but when you fight a boxer who just doesn't have it anymore and is trying to brawl...you get the outcome we saw. So don't claim that the Morales fight was a product of Manny's great improvements. While fighters can always improve...Manny is essentially a brawler...and brawlers are going to get hit. Which leads me to the the original point of this topic. To claim that a fighter with Manny's style can simply just move up in weight and fight fighters who are bigger punchers than him...and he can easily win these fights is absurd. Larios came into the fight taller?! Didn't know fighters could increase their height. Larios is in no shape or form the same strength and build as Manny. He also has a ton of miles on him. Yet he still shook Manny....why....because Manny's style invites that. Again, Manny is an exciting fighter and deserves credit for his rise...but people shouldn't get carried away.
Re: Chico vs Pac @ lightweight...
look here...your all over the place you have no exact point...you say this but don't get into another...ok say em is shot...but look at how chico perform at his last fight...make morales your point pac beat him because he was shot...ok that's your oppinion...well morales beat pac the first time...why? because pac was one demensional even you will admit that...now did pac look one demensional against larios valezquez and the second and third fight with em...so yes em was a example of pacs improvement..stay on track with what the hell you talking about kid...
another thing yea I agree...jmm outbox and survived pac the first time...at best he deserved a draw...we can agree to desagree who really won...but you want to talk about facts right...then admit who should of won if not for the error one of the judges made...exactly the young one demensional pac should of got the s.d win over the great counter boxer jmm...but look jmm went through hell with the young pac then...todays pac is much different you have to admit...and look what's different with jmm...his brawling a lot now...and that is what pac does best...he can't do that against pac...
hell yea pac deserves credit...his first come up on 126 he destroyed mab...okay say mab was not focus...well you gotta admit pac had as much distraction coming into the fight against em 1...and in the jmm fight...look making excuses is one thing but if you say this is why pac beat em is because em is shot and mab was unfocus distracted blah blah blah...you can say that but be fair to pac and consider why maybe he lost...and another thing pac came up at 130 guess who it was...it was em he fought first...so you say larios a smaller guy then pac rock pac...well watch first round of pac em 1...em was hurt by pac by a body shot...since you bash pac and gave credit to larios for hurting pac why don't you bash em and credit pac because pac by your oppinion when a fighter first moves up his a smaller guy then the guy his fighting...so what's the different...ooh morales wasn't shot yet then huh since he won...ohh then when he loses his a shot fighter and the fighter that beat him doesn't get credit for that...well back to what you said...about jumping banagons...well I guess when a fighter lose his shot and forget him right?...yea that's same thing they said about mab everyone jump of his wagon when he got pounded by pac and everyone said he was shot...but now he has been winning? hmm.
me personally I hate hearing excuses...you win or you lose...
bottom line is not that pac is going up in weight and is gonna k.o everyone...
this is about chico...I say pac beats him because...of the you only as good as your last fight factor...so its you that's blowing this up...pac comes in about 144 that's not far from chico...pac is not as small as you think...if you say chico is too big too strong well its you falling for what the hell your trying to point out about...being carried away with what they thin ...and no I didn't say larios got taller I said his taller and bigger then pac when they fought.
anyways everyone said pac was to small when he came up to 130 he was rushing in at 126 because he is fighting mab...blah blha blah...

When Morales beat Pac the first time nobody ever heard him being worn out, then when he gets beat by Raheem "some" thought it might be wear/tear others think it's just a matter of style why Erik got beat by Raheem. When PAC TKO'd him it's a confirmation that he is indeed worn out.
MY TAKE: LAME EXCUSE for getting KTFO.
PAC is a great fighter IMO because for a Superfeatherweight he is not big like Morales but he still beats them and beats them by stoppage.
Larios in fact is taller than PAC and is about the same frame so I don't think it's a mismatch. On JMM a judge already admitted his mistake on the scoring, so technically PAC shouldve won the fight.
Name a fighter out there other than PAC who have scored knockout wins over both Barrera and Morales(2x) and is actually smaller than them.
The fact remains that even if PAC cleans the 130 lb division knocking out Guzman, Valero, MAB & JMM within the next 2 years some people will never consider him "that" good. I remember an article by this guy in EastsideBoxing I think saying that PAC should move up to 135 to fight Chico and JL Castillo, what a desperate move to see PAC lose he knows and the world knows that at 130 lbs. PAC is the man to beat. It will take a BIG superfeather to stop PAC IMO somebody that shouldve been fighting as a lightweight/or welterweight.
Oh by the way I agree with you PAC still lacks alot of stuff but the funny thing is inspite those weanesses he still STEAMROLLS over the competition :)

Bravo!!! well said. These people who don't give the respect Pacman deserves can't still accept the fact that Pacquaio had badly beaten the likes of Morales and Barrera. They will always discredit the Pac's achievement then would call those who believe Pacman as the best in the superfeatherweight as going with the band wagon., blah, blah.
Whew... I don't know who is the fanatic here.

The problem with your views ain't that you think Pac can knock out Corrales. I can see that happening. The problem is that you think Pac can take Corrales left hook flush on the jaw and keep coming. That alone makes everything else you post not matter. Corrales left hook is one of boxing's most vicious weapons. I don't care if he is shot. If Corrales catches Pac is over. That simple. A Pac fan would acknowledge that fact. A Pac groupie wouldn't. Hell a Pac groupie thinks Pac can take Samuel Peter's punch flush and keep coming
Re: Chico vs Pac @ lightweight...
we talking about the out of shape chico who fought Casamayor or the one who fought castillo in 1st fight. if its the 1st then Pac KO but if chico comes in the shape like he did against 1st castillo fight then its chico ko pac.

I don't give a fuck which Chico it is. He catches Pac, it's over. That simple.
