Dude, I seriously don't think Barrera's best chance is to go for a KO, he's way too good to take risks like that. I've backed him for years and watched his progression. He's not really an outside fighter, even though his jab is terrific. He's a counter puncher, and Pacquiao's not an inside fighter, thats why Barrera's best chance is to get as close to him as possible, back Manny up, but be smart how he does it, and work on the inside. Pac-man's biggest punch is his long straight left, most effective when the guy is backing up, he's a long puncher, he's not a great hooker, unlike Barrera, his hooks are brilliant, so he needs to keep it where he is most effective, inside.

Barrera would indeed be a fool to look to win by KO. It seemed that was the plan of Morales and that was plain kamikaze. No way Barrera goes swinging from the 2nd onwards. It seems to me that too much is being judged on the last Morales fight. Remember Larios went 12 only a few months earlier and Larios is no MAB...

He'll be training for this fight like no other,he knows the task at hand and with veterans like B Hop/Oscar etc around him, after seeing his Mexican rival Morales destroyed and after remembring the beating he took from Pac the last time out, we may very well see one last GREAT MAB perfomance. Even I admit that I am guilty of not giving this guy enough credit at times,he is a TRUE legend in every definition of the word! I just honestly hope he ahs enough left to go to war. He hasn't really has to since 04? I hope he has some Mexican fire left in the tank because if he ahsnt',that mosnter Pacman(who I have ALOT of respect for and I think is P4P number1) will destry MAB again!

but the reason i said many posts ago in some thread that pac would KO
MAB in 2 rounds is just because i wanna get back on someone for saying

mab is a great fighter and he still is...we give credit to mab for beating em in the third fight and for schooling rocky...but when it comes to pac...theres always an excuse why he wins...I'm a fan of all four great featherweights of this era...(em,mab,jmm and pac)...but people will say I'm more a pac fan...only because I feel I have to defend pac more because he mostly doesn't get no credit and still is bash after all the improvements and hard training his done...still get bash for two k.o lost to unknown fighters...its like saying in third grade tyson use to get whoop by school girls...and still insist those today.wtf, its plain hating to still mention pacs early lost.
where is the credit for pac beating mab...everyone said it was because mab is done blah blah blah...but mab won three in the row after pac beat him?

CC back bro,and yeah,I am always fair even when it involves my favourite boxer. Of course,I think Pac will be a HEAVY favourite for the fight but MAB is dangerous and is a true legend. Whoever said Morales and JMM were inferior doesn't know what they are talking about. All 3 of these great Mexicans is skilled in their won ways. I don't read too much into Manny being koed from before because seriously,he looked ILL in the fights,he should not have been fighting at those weight classes and when he went down,he looked SERIOUSLY hurt and not just that but he has taken Morales and JMM's bombs and although he's been shaken a few times,he has not been dropped once by these guys~(man he's a tough dude!).

I understand what you are saying but you guys are debating about each other's favourite fighters so obviously you are going to try and dig up the dirt on the other fighter so to speak! I think Manny gets alot of credit from guys here,I mean I'm not his biggest fan at all but I have learnt to respect him because he has earnt it.
However,one thing I will disagree with.I give Pacman TOTAL credit for moving up in weight and fighting MAB in his first fight,a fight which barely ANYONE thought he would win BUT,I have been an MAB fan a long long time and I say to you,honestly,that was not MAB in there. Not at all.
Alot of things happened to him during that time,that interrupted his training,that played with his mind and when I was watching that fight with my friends,I even recall saying to them,that MAB does not look himself. I'm not saying Paman would not have won anway because aside from being himself,I think MAB is also guilty of underestimating Pacman in the fight but still,I expect a better performance from MAB this time around and if not,if Pac wins again,then no one can say anything about the first Pac win either I guess!

why was mab a different fighter that night? is it because of camp troubles? or is it because pac stunned mab in the first round? is it because of the metal plate in his skull? or its the fact that he was KD a gazillion times in a single fight? he was different because he was not the one who was whooping his opponent. he was hurt really early, everytime mab counters with 3 punches pac gave back 10. mab was a different fighter that night and thats because of pac.
