Boxing moments that just made you laugh

1: Meldrick taylor almost KO'ing himself with an uppercut against Julio Cesar Chavez. Round 7 i think. It was quality you could see his legs go a bit from it.

2: The ring announcer for the Hatton vs Kevin 'Dog Pound' Carter fight. Proper over the top ring announcer. (atlantic city)

Let me explain....

It was about Hatton's 9th or so fight and he was fighting a guy from detroit, on the Naz- McCullough undercard. (I have all of hatton's fights on dvd by the way).

Anyway he was 1st up on the card that night and there was roughly 5 or 6 people sat in the crowd
plus the cleaners, trainers and ian darke and glen Mccrory from Sky.
When both fighters entered the ring the announcer asked both Hatton and Carter for their names before grabbing ther microphone to bellow out 'Atlantic City, are yooooouuuuuu reeeeaaadddddddyyyyyy? At this point the camera cuts to the absent crowd before the announcer asks again 'Atlantic City, are yooooouuuuuuuu reeeeeaaaadddddyyyy? It was top quality, the ring announcer was a complete nutjob. Imagine his excitement if he ever got to announce at a world title fight!! Maybe the lights were so bright, he couldn't actually see that there was nobody in the audience.

3: Carlos Maussa.....full stop!!

The guy who was with Ruiz (the name escapes me) after the Valuev fight, grabbing the belt and screaming this is going back to america!
Pernell Whitaker v Roger Mayweather, ref gets clocked, Pernell pulls down Mayweathers short, Mayweather clocks Pea when he's down, the press conference rumble etc. they downright hated each other. So funny.

yeah that guy was funny as all fuck Norman Stone I think was his name? ... I remember when Tua was fighting Ruiz the ref was giving the instructions and at the end and says" good luck to the both of you " and Norman Stone smirks at Tua like David is some kinda walkoverand says quite loudly "yeah whatever". 45 seconds later I was just laughing my country ass off !! ;) ;D O0
