who wins a peak mike tyson or lennox lewis

Well Tucker went 12 rounds with Lewis, and beat Oliver McCall who beat Lewis.
James "Bonecrusher" Smith and Tucker were strictly in safe ,survival mode against Tyson. Anyone will tell you it's almost impossible to KO a guy when he's in a defensive shell.
As for ALI?? ppplleeeeaaassseeeeeee.. If "Plodding & bobbing" Joe Frazier could go 45 rounds with Ali and have a win in 3 close fights
Imagine Mike catching Ali with his left hook....KO! not even close!
It would be a horrible missmatch!
Almost as bad as a beating received by,.. say Vitali Klitschko
if he foolishly tried to fight Nicolai Valuev

Ok, at this point I assume you're just joking with me. But I'll play along... :)

First, the Ali who fought Frazier wasn't the prime Ali. Prime, pre-exile Ali wouldn't have lost to Frazier.
Second, if you think Tyson had a better left hook than Frazier, you're nuts.

Enough with the ALI excuses!!! Not in his prime etc..
And YES! I think every punch Tyson threw is better than ANY punch Frazier (tried) to throw.

Ali in his peak prime was probably ALMOST as good as Trevor Berbick when he fought Tyson...and look what happened to HIM!

He's too short to hit him from outside and on the inside he'd look like this, minus 4 inches!!

BUT.. I think Big George would...George had REALLY heavy hands and was VERY VERY strong physically with great core strength.George could club with the caveman.

Are there any other heavyweights besides Foreman who could compete with the great Valuev??

yea holmes was about 4 years past his prime when he fought spinks in holmes prime he would of beat tyson imo and berbick had been koed in 1 before tyson fight and plus berbick lost probably every round against holmes if he was lucky he got 2 rounds berbick was never that good plus it doesnt matter if holmes went 15 rounds with spinks twice holmes was past it plus totally different styles holmes was never 1 punch ko artist like tyson nor did he have fear factor on his opponents like tyson did to spinks

I am neither a Tyson or Lewis fan. I believe that any "Prime Tyson" vs "Prime Whoever" dreamfights have a built-in problem. Who was Prime Tyson? I am not alone in my belief (http://www.maxboxing.com/Groves/Groves0206a07.asp) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cus_D%27Amato) that Tyson was at his best prior to the death of his adoptive father and trainer Cus D'Amato. However Tyson was still steam rolling bums at that time. Hard to know how great someone is at his/her prime when they are only fighting club level competition during that period of time. Cus also died before the
Quick Tillis fight. So those who reference Tillis are making the argument that D'Amato was a non-factor when it came to Tyson's performance in the ring. I'm not making a statement either way. I'm pointing out that I have no idea who would win prime vs prime for this very reason. I think that both were truly exceptional fighters and should go down in the top 20 of all time great HWs.

you could use the same exscuse for tyson getting beat of buster douglas and tyson said that after that defeat he only ever fought for the money,but i dont think anyone could of done anything with tyson when he was in his prime.Look at when tyson fought bonecrusher,tucker,razzor ruddock,bruno,gilota,holmes,green,tillis,ribalta ect all similar fighters to lewis he,tyson,managed them all quite well weather it went the distance or not and it also showed that tyson in his day was very capable in going 12 rounds and not just crumbbling after 4, eg the tucker fight and the 2nd ruddock fight also berbick was a lewis type fighter obviously not as good and just look at the distruction of him.AWSOME.lewis no chance.
