anyone agree.
Scott Harrison big girl? Nah mate just has some serious demons, id like to see you call him a big girl to his face, that would be funny, Scott Harrison was a good little fighter and wouldnt say he was overrated, he has never been branded about as the best featherweigth in the world or anything like that, he was always top 5 when he was top of his game, i rated Harrison hard little man.
Re: Your most overrated British boxers?
..I agree I always rated Scott Harrison. Shame he had mind problems.
Tc
Re: Your most overrated British boxers?
I would say Scott Harrison, Alex Arthur and Junior Witter but then again nobody is really proclaiming them to being the best in the world....therefore nobody is really over rating them. I suppose i chose them because 2 of them have been/are world champs and the other one is getting shot real soon, and i don't personally think they are good enough or have beaten anybody worthy enough to be a world champion. I also believe they would be exposed by any world class fighter they face.......lovemore n'dou is not world class, no matter how many times i hear or read he is (various commentators and boxing magazines) neither is Corley.

mind problems, what you on, stealing stuff when on holiday, drinking himself stupid (but he is scotch i suppose) don't sound like demons to me, just a big girl who new he was crap and got out, the sport is better without criminal scumbags like him.
everyone has problems but we suck it up and get on with it he thought the world owed him a living.
adrian dodson, chris oko, the Delaney bros, Paul Ryan and charlie shepard should be added to the list of crap british boxers.
Re: Your most overrated British boxers?
haha i laughed so hard reading this post we should have a seperate post just for takin piss out of naz lmaolmao
that fight was quality
i live in rotherham nxt to sheffield so loads of naz fans here and
i knew ppl who didnt know barrera had never heard of him and i swore blind naz wud get destroyed
no-one believed me
the thing bout naz was he was entertainment i aint saying he couldnt box but thats not wat got him headlines>it was his f***ing about !!showboating(which pisses me off and calzaghe lost respect from me in the lacy fight for that)
naz said him self it only takes two pound of pressure in the right spot for a knock out punch and thats wat he went for in his fights fun to watch for some but not me.i like boxing for the sport not for the dancing around and taking the piss
his last fight was a joke too against manuel calvo and thats y he's stayed away he got booed to hell and he thrived on ppl loving the comedy and showboating
anyway wat i was originally gonna post for was to say i quite like alex arthur but agree with wat bin said u cant call him over rated cus no one shouting that he the best in the world

The little Irish guy...the pocket rocket. Cant think of his name and, ok, he' s not British but he was so dull! Tough but I dont think he ever troubled people with his punches.
Was never too sure of Colin McMillan towards the end of his career. He had a few good fights I guess.
Tc
Nah, Robin Reid was very good, and Wayne Mccullough was class, certainly no chump

I'll start by saying Nasheem Hamed (only fought one world class boxer and was destroyed, Lloyd Hoenyghan (1 good fight does not make a good career), Paul Ryan (please), Audley Harrison (again erm), Herbie Hide (Herbie who), Pele Reid (hahah), Paul Hodgkinson, Kirkland Lang, Crawford Ashley (oh not the body), Johnny Armour, Takaloo, Adrian Dodson and who could forget Gary Jacobs!
Honeygan was an amazing boxer (who once he won the title turned into a slugger. lets not forget he totaly outboxed Curry, easily outpointed Blocker and knocked Hatcher out in 40 seconds and destroyed Johnnyn Bumphus. If he had stuck to his boxing he could have been an all time great.
Hodkinson was an excellent boxer and only terrible damage in his first fight against villasana cost him the title which he easily won in the rematch. He was similiar to Jeff Fenech in style and like Fenech once his chin went it was all down hill.
Laing was his own worst enemy he wouldnt train and after fights would diaspear for months on end, but his talent was undeniable and he scored some impressive wins in his career.
Hide boxed as a heavyweight when infact he was a cruiserweight in his fight with Bowe apart from getting knocked down seven times he did quite well.
Honeyghan fought a weight drained, almost dead Donald Curry. Curry's handlers should of been criminally prosecuted for allowing him to go out there unable to defend himself. That was not the real Donal Curry, Honeyghan fought. The real Donald Curry would of destroyed Honeyghan worse than Mark Breland did. Yes indeed Honeyghan was overrated.

One minor adjustment. Scotch is the drink, and Scottish is what people from Scotland are. However, considering how much I imagine Scott will have been drinking since finding himself in court in Britain and Spain, I would accept and argument that his body could have distilled it all, and that he now may be about 5% pure alcohol, and who knows, that alcohol could be Scotch.
And as for criminal...I think it would be impossible to take that completely out of the game, especially at the lower end of the game because of the almost unbreakable link between violence in the ring, and violence outside of it.
