I agree, he aint a bum. He impressively beat one prime elite fighter (tzsyu), but that's just about it.

2 or 3 more fights like that, then I would put him up there along with my top dogs.

Philips,Tackie,Olivera,Tszyu,Castillo - even if some were in their twilight - they aint losing to a guy 'bordering on bum'

As a huge Hatton supporter I could never stand by a comment stating that Hatton is a bum or anywhere close. However, i am not like others who claim Hatton is a living Legend or has just cemented his legacy. Ricky has more to do, more to prove and I believe he's on the right track.
Personally i feel that anyone remotely involved with boxing should not use that word "bum."
What happened to respecting every fighter that steps inside the ring? I would never refer to a fighter getting into a ring with the intention of winning as a bum, let alone a universally recognised world Champion.
