imo its not that he hasnt had the toughest of test's yet he hasnt had ANY test yet
and still spouting about how good he is
if he'd have held the mouth until he'd done something worthy i dont think i'd have such a problem with him
but he didnt and so now he grates me lol
Agreed my sentiments too. What i cannot understand and please be patient with me, friday night we saw thompson in the ring with vuma now this kid has had as many fights as Khan and it did not look to me like they were protecting him i know they are different weights but the kid showed heart and courage, he showed the same kind of power as Khan but he was tested. i have seen nothing like that from Khan and until i do i will postpone my judgement. This next fight of his is not gonna test anything in my opinion.
If Thompson was already a British star and had the potential to be a worldwide star earning everyone involved with him gazillions of poundshe wouldn't of been put in a risky 50/50 (at best) with Vuma. Good for Thompson though, the chance didn't pay off but he put up a good fight.
Limond is a step in the right direction for Khan. ;)

and do u really see Amir dominating the whole fight until a stoppage ????
Yes i do see AMIR dominating this fight right from the off,The only thing thats not been tested about Khan is his chin, and as Limond, hes a poor ko record, Amirs chin in this fight will be untested,Amir is quick and powerfull and looks like a light welter on fight night, he is in my opinion very good,in defence, excellent in attack, ring wise, and a very quick thinker, to go with his sharp reflexes, limond will be a good test, at this time in Amirs career on paper but not in the ring, about round 5 if not before RSF winner AMIRRRR KHANNNNNNN ;)

I know what you are trying to say but i think you are missing my point, this lad Thompson has not had the exposure that Khan has or Fwank to cotton wool him, i must admit i had not heard much of him and had not seen him fight before Friday, but i was impressed with all the heart and courage he showed and maybe your right if they were making shed loads of money from him the fight would not have happened. But i think you forget its these kinds of fights that make people sit up and take notice and think he probably has more fans now then he had before for just stepping up to the plate. Khan has been handled with kit gloves and we don´t even know if hes worth it yet. Khan keeps saying he the best and can beat any one!!! let him try if he loses fair play to him he might learn something and may be a bit more respectful and stop the hating.

haha yeah but onli if he stands up after and says ok im not the best
so more ppl know Khan and jump on the band wagon b4 he's achieved anything
but of those fans Thompson has he has earned more respect for keeping his mouth shut and getting on with his job and getting in the ring
unlike Khan who is sitting at ringside pa at his side saying yeah i can beat such and such pbf in 4 rounds and i'll be world champ in a yr (nov 06)
Re: Khan toughest pro fight to date
The thing is Amir has to say those things. Its no different for anyone else, if they say no I cant beat that guy or I'll never amount to much they might as well jack it in ;D
Amir just gets asked more frequently and it makes the news.
That said I would prefer him not drive his car into people, however flash it might be, no one needs THAT close a look.

does that include WBU :-\
but i am totally with you on this one... you read the situation V well on khan and the stage managment.
but to khans credit i really think he is after stepping up but fat wallet as you refer to him is smart enough to know as soon as hes in with a bannger with any skill he'll be yesterdays news ;)
and it must totally suck being a boxer and having achived more than Khan has and be shoved to an ITV4 slot because Khan is being showcased fighting some feather fist.
but that is boxing in the UK and most of the ITV casual fans prob think these guys hes facing are top world champions... but all in all if it creates new fans to the sport then its not all that bad ;)

To be honest Kat yes they probably do. OK so best in the world is an exageration but you know what I mean. Its not like Amirs saying he is the best in the world, he just fancies himself as the business, just the same as any other young upstart, the difference being that most of them arent Olympic silver medalists and in front of a mic or camera every five minutes.
On the whole I agree with what your saying. Same as when Audley was getting all the attention that he hadnt really earned ;)
