Yeh Gomez does not deserve to share the ring with Hatton. If hatton beat castillo in 4 it will be gomez in 1 !!

What a joke ha ;D
I wouldn't be so sure. Gomez is much bigger than both Castillo and Hatton. Hatton had trouble with Collazo and Gomez is bigger than him. I don't know if you caught the Gatti fight but Gatti looked tiny compared to Gomez.Quote:

Hatton ain't blowing him over no way.

Did you make a bad joke and laugh at it yourself ???Quote:

He doesn't need to be. Gomez is just so much bigger. If they fought it would have to be at 147 lb and Hatton just doesn't have the strength at that weight. Gomez has been in with full blooded middleweights like Manfredo, Brinkley and Kuddour so I don't see him wilting from the first shots that Hatton throws.Quote:

This would be a close fight imo.
What are Hatton's options?Quote:

I'm sorry, but it seems Hatton has lost a lot of respect in terms of his performance against any bigger opponent.
I'm not saying he can't beat Gomez but the idea he could just walk through him is completely absurd. Gomez has never looked anything if not durable and he's actually a pretty solid fighter to boot.Quote:

If Im not mistaked we are talking about a welter weight that beat a world class super middle weight. I think he would really give Hatton alot of problems.
I think calling Gomez a world class super middle weight is a bit much to be honest with you, he might be a decent middleweight at most, but one thing Gomez is not is a world class super middle weight. As far as I am concerned, Gomez looked quite fleshy coming in against Gatti at 147, so I'm sure he could stick there, or even drop a weight if he really wants a title fight. Heck, I'm sure Paulie Malignaggi would welcome such a bout with open arms, but Hatton is hunting larger prey.Quote:

Gomez vs Manfredo has as much to do with if Gomez is ready for someone like Hatton as much as Gomez vs Gatti............. Nothing at all IMO.
Looking back, I may not have got my head around that one, but I blame the fact that I can't even consider Manfredo Jr anywhere near world class....Quote:
