How about they just tie the fighters left legs together ::** I can't understand for the life of me how someone who knows boxing and boxes themselves, as you obviously do, can be so naive when it comes to appreciating different styles or aspects of the sport. Mayweather is slick boxer who is going to use lots of movement to create space... Thus in your mind he doesn't want to fight, and should instead just stand right in front of Hatton and give him his only hope in hell?? That shows an incredible bias imo, and makes me think you must have a mauling, brawler style yourself, and have probably been outboxed yourself one too many times to be impartial about the matter.

Ricky has fought a certain way his whole career. Cut off the ring and get inside while there do as much damage as possible. Force his strength on the opponent and bully them. This will happen to Floyd.
Floyd could take the fight lightly by being to cocky and sure of himself which would make Hatton's job even easier.

Hatton is going to cut off the ring and Floyd hasn't the raw power to punch him away. Speed of punch yes but not enough speed. Floyd is great at not getting hit on the chin but his opponents give him the space or he makes the space- Hatton is not going to let up or get discouraged.

Hatton only loses if he tries to box which is highly unlikely.
I honestly only see one winner in this fight and that's Hatton.

This fight will be a walk over. Mayweather will dominate Hatton. It will either be a shut out points win or a late round stoppage. I can't see Hatton succeeding where Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Jesus Chavez and Oscar De La Hoya failed

Floyd definitely wins, probably by wide UD, but I think he might actually stop Hatton. Hatton has poor defense and comes forward all the time (when not hugging), which will leave him open for a lot of very clean counters.

I think this whole "PBF doesn't have KO power at 147" is a red herring too; this is really a fight at 140--these guys will come into the ring at about 147, which is less than most fighters fighting at Jr. Welter come in at. And no one claims that Ricky is a 147 fighter, so it just doesn't take the same amount of power to stop him as it would to stop, say, an iron-chinned 170-pound Carlos Baldomir. Floyd won 2 out of his 3 fights at Jr. Welter by TKO, and then TKO'd Mitchell at 147. It's not crazy to think he'll be able to put Hatton down--Collazo was within a thread of doing it and he didn't land half the clean punches Floyd will.

CC # 433 Fair play. just pointing out some things that Ricky's people might want to consider. Floyd usually benefits from the intangibles going in . ( Ring size) 27 footers.. a good solid boxer can box in an 18 footer no worries. , However it keeps the pure runners from doing nothing but. Floyd shouldnt have any worries then.

mayweather will win this one. PBF will not want to go down in history as the one who lost it on his last fight.

This is going to be Carmen Basilio v Ray Robinson, and I think Basilio is going to steal this one with workrate, aggression, body work, and borderline illegal tactics. On 9 nights out of 10, Floyd will beat Ricky, but I believe Floyds arrogance will be his downfall in the one. He'll run too much, he'll throw too little, and Ricky will steal rounds on pure guts and aggression, like ODLH did. Ricky is a better body puncher than oscar and he has better footspeed.

PBF wins an easy rematch.

I think its part of his act, his psychology,almost as a motivational tool as much as it is an intimidation tool, because for Mayweather and the status he's earned when he gobbs off, he knows that when he has his quiet moments alone he thinks s**t Id better deliver lol and as said the dissing almost becomes a motivating tool for him,

I don't mean unprofessional that he won't train right or that he won't have a plan. Floyd will be prepared. His arrogance will be not throwing enough punches, not trying to finish Hatton, and leaving things in the hands of the judges.

I think there is a pretty good chance Mayweather will be the winner on MY card and lose a close SD.

If Hatton can match floyd's speed then hatton will probably give floyd a beat down. I watched castillo/mayweather 1 and castillo almost matched floyd speed for speed. He gave floyd all he could handle. If there is to much speed advantage for floyd then i think he'll easily beat Hatton. Floyd easily picks apart opponents with lesser speed.

I think this will be Floyd's toughest fight to date, his defensive skills are extraordinary and Hatton will find it very difficult and frustrating trying to hit him.
PBF must not underestimate Hatton at any time during the fight as he will be in his face for the whole 12 rounds, i just don't see Ricky Hatton landing enough punches cleanly to get a decision against Mayweather. PBF will work Hatton out by the 3rd or 4th round and it would not surprise if this ended in a DQ. I hope it doesn't but i see Hatton getting frustrated in this fight and doing something stupid that american referee's will not tolerate. Hatton must attack early and throw caution to the wind and prevent Mayweather dictating the fight. He has to land something heavy in the early rounds and get PBF to change his game plan. I see a Mayweather UD in what will hopefully be a great fight.

I see them bringing the best out of each other, if it don't get silly, Floyd will more than have his hands full, and tho not too sure about Hatton being able to knock Floyd out with head shots, it would only take one correctly placed or even luckily placed body shot to cause mayhem for Mayweather,

However, I cant see Hatton getting close enough to Mayweather for long enough to be able to do that, unless Floyd allows him to......like with Ndou, and tho he was no Hatton,he was still rough potential hard work for a while, And tho I may get my head kicked in verbally for this I really feel Floyd's strength is being underestimated, as well as the dark ability to drop the forearm and elbow very cutely on blind side and hidden as a quick hook or two...

So I go for Mayweather big on points, maybe late stoppage (9-12 round) but ya can bet Hatton will give everything he has to overcome this...will it be enough, not without a slice of luck or a complacent Mayweather.. :o

I can't wait until December, at least there are a few great fights in between.
