anyway, why are we all tense about this huh? u saw the first fight. u knew what the factors are. mab fans make excuses about how mab was unfocused and all. well pac fans make the excuse that pac was a one dimensional fighter. this time around, nothing has changed.. mab will be more focused and pac is not one dimensional anymore. we will see come fight night.. after that, lets post our post fight excuses. one thing is for certain tho.. whoever wins or loses.. this fight will be a talk of the town.. good luck to both fighters.

I love Barrera but damn, in his past few fights he seems to be nearing the end of his career. In Pac's last few fights, he's shown that he is at his destructive, brutal best. I don't see this going in Barrera's favor at all...

BS ! With all due respect, Barrera is no sacraficial lamb like Morales was . Erik was just thrown to the wolves but Barrera is coming off a close fight with Marquez the man many thought beat Pac .

Miles - I agree Pac isnt a massive puncher but its his speed and accumilation of shots that do the damage. Vernon showed against Shane how to overcome speed . . . JAB !!! . Its one of Barreras best punches and cuz he is a converted southpaw . All his power is in that punch . Weve seen the damage he does to his opponents faces with that shot . He didnt utilise it last time cuz he was stuck between styles and wasnt prepared but he will be this time. Pac hasnt met a guy like this before . Eriks jab owned Pac over 12 and so did Marquez' IMO . Barrera hits harder and is a better all round fighter . Plus he is alegend fighting for his career . Pac isnt a legend . Not yet anyway . He made his name off Barrera and just has a rep for beating a washed up Morales. Outside that he has done sweet FA . Cant wait to hear the peoples excuses when Pac gets skooled . . .

While MAB is ending his career fighting against one of the most dangerous fighters in the game...Marquez is following one of his biggest fights of his career by fighting Juarez!!!! (a fighter Barrera already schooled). "Eric proved he was truly the tougher one"?!!! Sure thing genius. That's why Barrera beat him 2 out of 3 times. Eric's macho attitude and inability to change his style (not to mention his making weight problems)...ended his career prematurely and on a sad note. And how do you have the nerve to say Marco would take this fight for the money?! He has done NOTHING in his last few fights to embarrass himself. He has shown he is still a tremendous boxer with great skill and heart. The man is a legend...plain and simple. It will be a tough fight for him against Pac...but you can be sure he will have the preparation and game plan to give Pac all he can handle (and maybe more). As much as I like MAB and support Mexican boxers I just don't see MAB beating Pac. Hopefully he'll jab him away like Erik did on his first fight against Pac just keeping the distance...one-two...distance, jab...and so on to win an easy victory with a clean face.

Barrera is an intelligent fighter. I suspect, he must be watching everyday the fights of PACMAN and may have found already the weakness of Pacman.Pacman should never understimate him. Barrera is like a tiger... in the face of extinction it will fight back and will never surrender.

Quality, the the look he's giving him is kind of creepy, IMO far scarier than any kind of scowl.
Hope Barrera can pull one last performance out of the bag, but de defo needs to find a way to stop all those straight lefts getting home like last time, it looked as if he had no answer to it back then.
