Mayweather has the ability to ruin fighters............... he's done it many times.
As for your claim of "an old Oscar," a 4 year difference in age isn't that big of a deal, bro. Especially when you consider that it was Mayweather's first fight at jr. middleweight (not bad for a blown up lightweight ;)) and he took on a champion of Oscar Delahoya's magnitude. Of course, I'm sure that you were one of the majority of people that thought that Delahoya was going to win that fight before it happened ;)
I also believe that Oscar won that fight.lol
Re: PACQUIAO – THE BEST IN THE WORLD?
With all due respect, there is ABSOLUTELY no way in hell Mayweather lost to Oscar. He beat his ass from 8-12 and rocked him twice. I don't like the guys attitude but he's skilled and he beat Oscar.
Alot will be calrified over the coming months. If Mayweather beats Hatton well, which he should, there's no way ANYONE can disute his status as P4P number one(and I'm one of of PBF biggest critics)

Were you scoring the flurries that Oscar was throwing but missing ?? because Mayweather landed more cleaner blows and for certain won the fight no question i had Mayweather ahead by 3 rounds.

floyd has gotten to the top by fighting limited opposition (imo and many others).
If he wants to clear up the mess he has left, let him do something more along the lines of what RJJ has accomplished.
RJJ
Started at MW and went all the way to HW for one fight only but he fought a champion at that time and he won. He was outweighed by @ 30lbs.
All floyd needs to do to earn the admiration of his many fans is to go up to SMW (that's splitting the 30lb weight difference in half which imo is more than fair), fight a champion and win. Hell, even I would be impressed with him then. Too much for the exhalted one you say? Ok then, how about MW. I'm sure he can beat any champion there at least, he's the almighty god of boxing right?
Mayweather has fought from 129.5 lbs all the way up to 154 pounds (24.5lbs difference) against much better opposition than RJJ.
Seeing as how this is some Pacquio glory thread........... where does he fit in in your theory??
If PAC earns the top spot by beating MAB then so be it. He's fought all the way from JR fly to Super Feather fighting bigger challenges than floyd

Re: PACQUIAO – THE BEST IN THE WORLD?

As far as their entire resumes throughout their careers........... absolutely.
Jones had a few big names on his, where as Mayweather has a few big ones and a lot of really good ones.
Don't forget that Jones lost to journeyman Glen Johnson and mediocre Antonio Tarver a couple times ;)
I'm not saying that it was Jones's fault, because there wasn't that much out there. But Mayweather has the far better resume............ which equates to better wins overall.
Do yourself a big favor and try not to refer to me later in threads because I will continue to make you look silly and ignorant.
Thanks
Re: PACQUIAO – THE BEST IN THE WORLD?
I don't think either Mayweather or Jones can say they have a far better resume than the other. It's close either way.
For what it's worth, Roy Jones' domination of James Toney is more impressive than any win on Mayweather's resume to this point.
Re: PACQUIAO – THE BEST IN THE WORLD?
Jones beat 2 ATG in B Hop and James Toney,in fact he beat Toney's ass easily. And he has more "good fighters" than Floyd on his resume. Tarver,Woods,Ruiz,Hill,Griffin,Macullum,Henshaw etc are better than Baldo,Sharmba,JLC,Hernandez,Chavez,Corrales.
Jones may very well have lost to Johnson and Tarver but that was after he went to HW and beat Ruiz for a portion of the HW crown, which was an amazing feat.

Factor in Jones's losses and add a victory over Hatton (when it happens) and Mayweathers has the better resume

I don't think so forgetting the losses if we are talking best wins then even a win over Hatton would not put him above Jones beating 4 Hall Of Famers.

I don't think you can use Jones' losses as the basis for an argument for Mayweather having a better resume. Jones was in his mid-late 30's when he lost to Tarver and Johnson. That's an age that Mayweather has not reached yet.
If we're comparing resumes, we should be comparing Jones thru age 30 with Mayweather thru age 30 (his current age). Jones' win over Toney is more impressive than anything Mayweather has done to this point.
