At this point, I'd like to see Pavlik fight anybody, because, as is to be expected, after the Taylor fight there's incredible amounts of hype surrounding the guy, which we don't know is founded, or realistic. I have misgivings, however, about a fight with Hopkins. It's my personal opinion that he's a boring fighter. He racks up points rather than inflict damage and charges in headfirst (literally). His head's down when he throws punches, and there's too much clinching. He makes for a very boring fight, in my opinion. Wright looked pretty bad against Hopkins, but I still think he'd be a more interesting opponent for Pavlik (at a lower weight).
boring? He knocks people out! I mean if you think he could use a little more technique well ok, but if you are regularly putting people to sleep I'd say your anything but boring.Quote:
