Good read, good question : Why is Juan Diaz not respected or a fan favorite?

Yea but there is a reason he went to 135 140 at the time did not suit him that is why

that's exactly what he needs to do....go up in weight and challenge the bigger guys to earn more respect...No disrespect to JD but challenging PAC says a lot about his character really...He just wants to get paid :-\

Why would Diaz go down to 130? He has never fought at that weight. Also, Manny can't make that weight these days. If anything, Diaz could go up to 140, a weight class he began his career in.

I'm just saying...unifying & holding your position is a very commendable thing in boxing.

It's the Dumbo ear's, it looks like hes about to fly away with those mugs. I like his style he comes to fight. I would like to see him against Casamayor and Katsidis. Casamayor may have a chance to outbox and counter, but I think the baby bull will be on him like white on rice. He just smothers you and throws 6 punch combos, its gonna take a big puncher I think to take him out.

I don't think anyone disrespects him.
Maybe it's because he's so young that he's not a fan favourite? He just hasn't grown on people yet?
