B-Hop is a great fighter but Calzaghe is on a higher level, Hopkins struggled against Taylor and Wright, Pavlik Ko'ed Taylor and would do the same against Wright. Hopkins is playing pussie pat again. I think Pavlik would knock out Hopkins, Pavlik and Hopkins should fight. And the winner fight Calzaghe. Just my Southern opinion ;)

The point is it shouldnt be abou the money at this stage of Joe's career. If BHOP is trying to back out, stop him by calling his bluff. Take 0% to force him to fight. Then the win if he gets it will be sweeter.

This is going to be hard to explain...atleast correctly...but let me try...
NO WAY IN HELL IS CALZAGHE ON A HIGHER LEVEL!!!
That being said...he's at a different place in his career...& on that note...right now...YES...he's on a different level.
Joe, IWHO, is a few notches down from Bernard as far as his level of skills goes...but at this time I think that he could either match Hopkins or be the foil for another win at 175lbs for Bernard. While all of that might sound like a conflicting statement...if you think about what I am trying to say...it aint.
You'll either agree or disagree.
Hopkins is a better all around fighter...but right now...I think that Joe will too much for Hopkins. Too fast, too slick, & too dominating.
This may be the one & only time that we ever see Hopkins get handled.
People say that Roy Jones did that...but their wrong. Watch that fight again & there was an equal amount of confusion on both fighter's facees.
Joe's on the upswing & Hopkins is in the twilight of his career...no matter what he or the meida has to say. Now I aint saying the Nard is old...nor will I say that when Joe beats him...but Joe's got a whole lot more shit going for him at this point in his career.

I think its a shame that BHOP spent most of his prime fighting and beating up guys that weren't that famous, and only got the recognition he deserved by beating up on top 147 guys who thought they had a shot at 160. Now when its time to cash in he is maybe getting a bit too old and we dont get to see him against other greats like Joe C while at his best.
I mean the man started fighting in 1988, how many guys have a 19 year career and remain a top 3 p4p guy? It is remarkable.

New to Calzaghe myself,last 3 years about but he has come to the forfront right now.To me he seems to fight out of Pride and Rep.A cocky dude brimming with all around skills.Hands,footwork,moxie and Drive.
Kessler is a breath of fresh air and a Problem to come for any fighter that sees him a easy mark.He will be champ again.Is there any doubt that his next outing will be anticipated highly($) and will have great exposure?
Bernard Hopkins is in fact the Lt.Heavy Champ and is rellashing the bounty's at this time he rightly or wrongly FEELS he has been denied for so long.He will have a say in the direct promotion ties and contract terms (maybe under the table) but lets be real here.Calzaghe will be going into Hopkins weight,after what Hopkins has,to conquer A great and ensure to be thought of as such in the long run.Calzaghe wants this fight & Hopkins Knows It.

Calzaghe should just accept this 60-40 split..afterall B-Hhop is an old guy now.
You need to really give B-Hop a good reason to even bother getting in the ring with Joe.
Neither fighter needs eachother at the moment lets be honest.
Joe's legacy is secure with that win over Kessler as far as im concerened. He was unlucky not to get any bigger fights and as a result of that will never be as big as he could had been.But that's tough luck.
If Joe is going to attempt to further his legacy with a win over Hopkins who win or lose in this one is considered one of best ever middleweights. then he has to bow to his demands.
If Joe agreed to these terms and then Bhop changed terms again then of course dont bother with the fight.
otherwise just fucking agree to it Joe and finally get this fight happning and get your ass to the US.
