Well I'm taking care of the kids first. My wife Donna takes care of the practical stuff and i get the gadgets.

Got em all on sale yesterday.

For Matt, our 22 year old. I am building him a new computer. I just ordered a Asus motherboard, Athlon X2 4800+ processor, 1 gig of ram. I will buy the case locally. I will use his current Hard Drive as it is still good. Still looking for a good low to mid range video card for him also.

Donna wants a GPS for the car of all things, so I got to get that taken care of also. For me well, I told her I wanted the games Timeshift and COD 4

Yeah...seems to have been a ruff year for quite a few of us...but atleast this one's in the bag & we can get crankin on a new one in just under 20 some odd days now.

Truely & deeply sorry for the loss babe.

My grandmother is on the same page as my mother...but she get's top bill over her...hands down...but she's hitting her late 70's & is falling apart day by day.

I'm dreading the day that her time comes to an end...because I know that it's just 'round the corner & my daughter thinks that there's nothing else in the world like her. She raised me & she's the bulk of my daughter's happieness. What do you do? Life is just way way way to short...so I totally totally understand what you mean by being thankful for what we got.

Took me twenty years or so to figure that little tidbit of wisdom out.

Ha Ha...glad to see I am not the only one...My youngest is the same age....Some how he learned what a credit card is :-\.....So he thinks that all you need to do is use the card on everything...of course what he does not realize is that Daddy needs to pay the people who gave him the card :(.....Add that with the fact he is pretty aware of how computers work and at that age they don't miss a trick...so if I try to tell him we can't get something at the store because I did not bring enough money I get .."Thats OK we can buy it off the puter at the .com with your card like Mommy does"......

And for some crazy reason he refuses to believe that Santa does not bring toys if you don't listen to your parents ::**....Damn advertising...make you go broke........But I guess paying off 12 months of bills accumulated in less then 2 weeks time is worth it just to see their smiling little faces 4am christmas morning...While still hung over from the christmas eve party the night before :-[

Yeah it sure is. It's amazing how quick they pick up the computers. Thankfully she's still young enough to believe that ABC Kids and Dora are only on one computer and not on the laptop.

Yeah I keep my laptop hidden....If I didn't I am sad to say there would be many a tantrum on road trips with him wanting to have it in his car seat while we drive :-\..... I have had to resort to password protecting the one at home at night....a few times I cought the little bugger up playing on it.....he knows his abc's and has a heck of a memory (as they all do at that age and we just forget)....so the words dot com stick in his head....he will just read off the letters from his toys and add the .com to the end to find a web site......
