Warren wouldn't allow it, he can make dosh all on his own by selling Kahn Earl...
Had Hatton still been under Warren he would have still marketed it as two events for the extra money.
Also, Hennessy has capitalised on the Brit contingent being over there and has a card on the Friday in vegas with the likes of John Murray fighting. I think it's UK vs. Mexico.
Smart move mr.Henessey!!!!!
I think it's a little deal with Golden Boy. F****** clever since alot of people couldn't get tickets to the fight.
Thats true and it will get a lot of young fighters the opportunity to taste some international flavour into their ring expierience....(Something I greatly wish Frank Warren would do.)
Aswell as plenty of folks making money out of it, I think if John Murray can really impress this fight it will do wonders for his profile beyond the British shores.
I thought Murray looked quite impressive the other week...
Good to see him staying active.

WEll, here you are guys a few more comments from the fighters in the run-up to the fight, and Earl is trying to cool down the bit of niggle that's been between them in the build-up.

Here's the tale of the tape as I see it:
Amir Khan (14-0, 11KOs) is undoubtedly one of the best British boxing prospects of recent years, whether you buy into the hype or not. The 20-year old from Bolton has been surrounded in a media scrum ever since he claimed the olympic medal at the tender age of 17. Despite his undefeated record and big talk, critics would point to some cracks which have appeared in the past year or so, both inside and outside of the ring. Convictions for speeding and a trial for dangerous driving must have been distracting, and a knockdown which nearly finished him against Willie Limond opened him up to those who have doubted Khan's chin. However, his supporters would say that he showed he could come back from the brink, and that his charity work in the Bolton area have shown that he's developing into a man. However, Saturday's bout will be 364 days after the last time Khan went the full distance, standing 5 inches taller than his opponent he will hope his height and developing power will help him to do to Earl what Katsidis did before.
Graham Earl (25-2, 12 KOs) is the more travelled veteran in this fight, nine years older and 13 fights wiser than Khan, and will be hoping to bring all he knows to bear, and to beat the popular man from Bolton. Earl himself is a firm fan favourite, and will no doubt be bringing a cadre of his own supporters up to Bolton from his hometown of Luton. Earl's last appearance will be very difficult to match, with his meeting with Katsidis touted among the British fights of the year, with Earl down three times and Katsidis counted once. The all action punching of both fighters made a mini-classic over 5 rounds, and a fight 50% of that intensity will make for exceptional viewing. Katsidis is certainly stronger and more aggressive than Khan will be, and Earl will also have to contend with the height and reach advantage that Khan brings to the table.
My personal prediction....it's hard to say, but I'll go for Khan on points, although he might get clipped and find himself in trouble once or twice as Earl finds the key to his guard. Either way, I'm certain this one will be a cracker.
Elsewhere on the bill we have Dean Francis defending his Commonwealth Light Haevyweight title, Michael Jennings defending his WBU welterweight belt (although there are rumours Jennings is injured), and prospects Jamie Cox and Tony Bellew will be in action, as well as Kell Brook, and Paul Smith returning to action after his appearance in the "Contender" series, still undefeated but nor is he contender champion either.
The action will begin at 7.40pm (2.40pm EST) on ITV4 in the UK, and switch to ITV1 for the Khan fight at 9.55pm (4.55pm EST).
So let's see who y'all think will win, and whether Khan's progression will continue or whether he'll get blasted by Earl's power and experience.
Earl stops him in 11
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
So far....we have a staggering 80% of the votes pointing to an Amir Khan win, with only 20% thinking that Graham Earl can actually win this one.
I definitely don't think that Amir Khan is that big a favourite, and it is definitely in the realms of possibility for Earl to win on Saturday night, and although my opinion has gone back and forth during the week, I'm still backing Amir, but I do have plenty of doubts too.
Either way, it should be a really good fight, and we can see the cut of Khan's cloth.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight title
I think Khan will win but feel I must have a saver on the Earl KO. Problem is he can't workout whether his best chance is early, middle or late ::**
I do expect Khan to start a bit cagey-ish.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
EARL'S GONNA BASH AMIR INTO NEXT WEEK ; he'll have to engage Earl at some stage and he ain't gonna shift that chin easily (if at all). Earl is as hard as they come and i think he sparks Khan within 7 rounds!!!
No bad thing for Khan to lose really and it might even do him a favour!
Earl for me all day long.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
I'm sticking with Khan for this one, but he needs a tough fight if he is to gain anything, I just get the feeling Khan thinks boxing is easy and will get an even bigger wake up call than Limmond one of these days.

I knew you'd show up here sooner or later Smash. How you been bro? You joining us tomorrow night before I get my work hat off and plonk myself between a crate of booze and the big-screen to watch the Hatton fight?
I kind of expected you to back Earl, and in a way I think he can do it too, but although Khan went down against Limond, I think that might be enough of a warning for him to know that he can't hang his chin out like he did that night against any sort of quality opposition.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
I think this is gonna be a real tough test for Khan! I wouldn't be surprised if he gets dropped but I think he'll get back up & box to a decision. Earl's no slouch IMO & he took some bombs from Katsidis & kept coming so his chin is pretty solid I feel.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight titl
Kahn will probably knock the guy out tbh. Dont know alot about this Earl fella but sure Kahn wouldnt be put in with him if he had a chance of losing.
Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight title
I'm 99.9% sure Earl will knock Khan down.

Re: British RBR - Amir Khan v Graham Earl - Saturday - C'wealth Lightweight title
Khan ko round 5 dont think Earl has what it takes to get inside and do enough damage. Khan will make him pay when he comes in. I think the Kats fight might have taken his confidence, after giving it his all and coming up short. He seems like a decent fighter but I dont think he has the power or chin to be a champ. Small titles yes but not a big one.
