What makes you think Miguel can win really? Look at his speed and robotic style of fighting. Floyd will be landing flash punches from all angles in the book and not getting hit with more than 2 punches since he easily slides away or gets on his bicycle. As much as I really wish someone out there, including Miguel, could beat him convincingly, I just don't see Miguel being the one to do that.
So yeah, I rather see Oscar vs Floyd II which was far from being a complete dominance from both sides. There's a reason why it went SPLIT even though many experts and fans believed Oscar won it.

I almost fell asleep during the first "World Awaits"!
I had been drinking since very early that day. But I have managed to fight off fatigue on plenty of other benders so I think it was the fight that put me to sleep.
I also can't comprehend how ANYONE could think that De La Hoya won the first fight. Or that the fight was even close. Floyd won decisively, there is absolutly no need for a rematch. I don't even think general sports fans in would find interest in a rematch. I watched with some people who were very casual boxing fans and after me hyping the fight for months they wondered "that's it?" :(
It was not even a strategic fight. It was floyd running and oscar failing miserably at doing anything effective. Oscar came in so nervous, it was obvious he was going to gas out.
And it was obvious floyd did not come to fight, but he just came to win. And he can win against DLH anytime anywhere fighting the same method he won with in the first fight.
This is not a fan-friendly fight nor is it a fight that progresses the sport in any way. If anything this fight hurts the sport in every aspect except for Oscar's and Floyd's wallets.

Sorry Saddo but thats way off the mark, Mayweather was countering Oscar's jab with right hands and even rocked him a few times. Oscar was never winning the fight even after 9 rounds i still had Mayweather ahead, ODLH would throw flashy combos but most of them were missing. Throughout the fight Mayweather was landing the more quality punches, and if you watch Oscar's flurries in slow motion you can actually see how ineffective they were. Oscar stopped using the jab because he was getting countered plus he run out of gas, when you miss with that many punches as Oscar did you tire more quickly. When i first stepped into the ring for my first sparring match when i was very inexperienced. I was throwing a lot of punches but missing with most of them causing me to run out of steam very quickly. Thats common in boxing Saddo all you have to do is look at the percentage ODLH landed at it was only 21 percent that should tell you something.
ODLH can only do worse in a rematch im a Mayweather fan but this doesn't really appeal to me at all. I will watch it because i am Mayweather fan plus i love boxing, but it won't be one that interests me.

you see in your own words you just confirmed it more... he ran out of gas even more reason to throw the jab the shot that takes the least energy.
it is also the hardest punch to counter because it is the shortest distance between two points.... and was giving him success early doors so on your logic i'm supprised he threw any shots after that because he was getting hit alot more often when he didnt use it ;)

Its because he was getting countered when he threw the jab, Mayweather would counter with right hands over the top. Mayweather has done that time and time again throughout his career. Mayweather adapts to any style very well, its not like Oscar was clearly winning the fight after 9 rounds is it ?? i mean i had Mayweather clearly ahead by 1 or 2 rounds after the 9th round.

I just went in there swarming my opponent like i said i was very inexperienced missed a lot of my punches. And run out of steam very quickly, but i have improved a lot since then. I had my 1st amateur fight not long ago and i won.
If thats your opinion fair enough im just trying to get you to see it from another point of view. Im just saying Mayweather counters jabs with right hands over the top all the time, and Oscar hasn't exactly been consistent in the later rounds he has been 50-50. Oscar can only do worse in the rematch IMO. He isn't exactly a spring chicken either, and Oscar has never been a great pressure fighter IMO. So im not really sure what he can do better this time ?? maybe use the jab more but Mayweather will be even more prepared for that this time with counter shots, and Oscar is never going to out box Mayweather so how can he win the rematch ??

Honestly id rather Floyd retired and came out of it to fight Cotto then faught ODLH again and retired after that. I think PBF JUST did enough to win the first fight, Oscar could argue he deserves a second shot at it i spose but i am just frustrated if it gets in the way of PBF-Cotto becuase thats the one i want to see!

Last time, Floyd let Oscar get everything he wanted in the negotiations (154, small ring, Reyes gloves).
If I were Floyd, this time I would demand that Oscar concede one of the following two things:
Either the weight (147 instead of 154) or the gloves (Winning instead of Reyes).
I don't think the ring size matters, to be honest.

I can't comprehend how ANYONE thingks that Oscar got completely destroyed, utterly humiliated, totally damaged face, etc. The only good punch I remember from Floyd was when round 8 (was it 8? Or 9?) was ending, Oscar lowered his defense, and right at the bell he threw a right that landed clearly on Oscar's face. Don't remember BOTH being hurt any time during the fight. Just being cautious I guess.
But to say Cotto will do a better job? If Cotto pulls it, awesome! But I am not so sure about that. His robotic, straight forward, slow style simply doesn't convince me. And believe me, I want ANYBODY to beat Floyd convincingly.

Whoever thought that was an idiot and knows nothing about boxing, Mayweather was moving up to a weight class he has never fought at before, plus ODLH had some of his finest performances at Light Middleweight, plus ODLH was almost 1 stone heavier than Mayweather. He wasn't destroyed he put up a good fight but he was out boxed in the end. And i had Mayweather ahead by 3 or 4 rounds.

That's right, Mayweather wouldn't exchange punches in the middle of the ring against Oscar or anybody, that is simply not his style.
I am glad there's one person finally who can say something positive about Oscar in that fight. Yes, he fought well I guess but somehow Floyd was given the split decision. Far from being humiliated, completely destroyed, schooled, totally dominated, hurt, about to go down, and so on.
