Pryor's biggests wins were probably against Alexis who started his career @ 126 I think. Since Ray was able to take Tommy's best shots & Hagler's @ 160, I think Ray could have handled Pryor's best shots @ 147. No doubt, it would have been a great fight though!

I agree with this.
This is another reason why I can't accept that Leonard ducked Pryor.
You just can't duck someone from a weight class below, especially when you have fought bigger, stronger & probably better fighters in your weight class.

Hearns was a fantastic boxer and for me could have been the one to KO Pryor had they met prime for prime IMO.
However styles make fights and Pryors would have proved even more difficult for Leonard than Hearns.
As you said in the first fight Hearns nearly beat Leonard and IMO he did beat him in their second.
However, my hypotyhesis is although Pryor < Hearns, Pryor gives Leonard an even tougher fight.
