Would you think the same thing if you were Israel Vasquez. It was heard that Roach was saying before the 2nd fight with Marquez that he was slurring and S***. And that Israel wasn't ready....... ::**
booze,
Have you ever heared Israel talk in person recently?
Also Roachs concern was that after the surgery that Israel went through to repair his broken nose and the type of fight that he fought that the time that he gave himself to comeback was too soon and that he didn't want any part of it.
So what's wrong with that booze?
What's wrong with Roach looking out for a fighter?
I guess there is nothing wrong with it. Vas. just had the chance to make history and he did it. And no I haven't heard him [Vas] talking lately. Regardless of whether he is slurring or not if Roach is not part of the camp anymore I don't think it is any of his fucking business. If Roach didn't say any of these things subsequent to his leaving camp then I am misinformed (or took something out of context) and I apologize
I can understand where you are coming from though Mick.

No need to apologize booze, I just thought maybe you had seen recent footage of Israel talking or something and you felt he was OK.
Roachs main concern was after the 1st fight as he said he wouldn't part take in the rematch.

Emmanuel Steward. WQorld class trainer if nothing else.
4 weeks ago I saw a guy from my gym having just turned pro go spend two weeks with him. He came back in a lower weight division and with a whole new work ethic.
