BRITISH RBRs! Amir Khan v Gairy St Clair and Michael Jennings v Ross Minter

Round 9:

Jennings coming all out for KO and Jennings cannot miss him now and Minter looking really tired and flat footed, Jennings bouncing round and nice flush shots landing and WHAT a brilliant left OHHHHHHHHH that was sweet and Minter is down but has got up at 8, stumbling to his feet and wobbling and it's over, the towell was threw in from Minter's corner and Jennings wins a 9th round TKO.

What a fight and what a display of bravery from Minter however Jennings landed bombs in that last round and the correct decision was made to stop the bout as Ross had nothing left.

Sounds like a cracking little fight....but what are ITV 4 doing for the next half hour till it all starts on ITV 1 for the Amir Khan fight. I really thought that Jennings would win, but by KO has to look good for him, and in an exciting fight too which will be great for getting him back on TV too.

Jennings "Ross put up a great fight and my face says it all, I made the fight hard for myself and need to make myself more active as it was not a great performance and Ross put up a better fight than I expected but I did not underestimate him".

Minter "My ear has gone, I'm quite muscular and needed time to warm up and I started slow but overall I felt comfortable in there but just got caught but it's a brilliant experience, he's a world champion but I wan't to carry on in boxing and no excuses."

(They share laughs at the end and do the ringside interview together)

Great respect to both fighters, brilliant fight.

CC returned Rhun and in the meantime on ITV4 there is more action, maybe Nicky Cook it did not say???

Matthew Marsh is fighting but he is no one great and he is fighting a journeyman and the result is already known on boxrec so I'll pass an RBR for that, I need a drink anyway before Khan fights :drinker: ;D

I picked Jennings KO/TKO so it makes up for all the unexpected KO's yesterday ;D I was thinking to myself pick round 11 but I said no I will play it safe and ensure I bag 6 and I did the correct thing ;D

I feel bad if you picked round 10 LOL, he was seconds away from getting there.

Khan looks in geat shape... St Clair took some great shots but fireing back...

Khan looks awsome with the uppercut... low blow in there also by khan but St Clair cool as fuck thus far...

good fight for khan as alot of khans old opponents might have faided by now.

Good showing by St Clair hes here to earn his money 8)

St Clair having a bit more success in rd 4 but still a khan round with his classy combos.

still see this a prob Khans most dangerous fight to date.
