good defences are the way to win i always think...
how much do you weigh? my trainer scott (ex british and eurpoean champ) weighes in at 230lb at the moment. i border around 200lb and if he punches me full on he would rip my head off my shoulders. the guy hits like a truck. hes broken my ribs before when he was bearing coaching gloves, and those bitches are like 22oz! i dont get how you could take punches like that, if somone threw their whole bodyweight behind it it would surely hurl you back
5'8 and weigh about 165, fit. I might be fighting a fella who weighs as much as you later. I'm in shape, but I need to get back into fighting shape.
It's been a year since I did any serious weight lifting, my strength has fallen alot but I'm still stronger than most hard-ass's. I'm looking forward to this summer, then I can start training like no tomorrow without worrying about the grind of school.
Like I said before, you're lucky to be in good company, there's plenty of talent to learn from. n'like they say pain is the best teacher, learn the lesson and sharpen your defence. A good defence isn't about winning, it's about surviving, that and a good offensive of combinations, jabs, counters combined with footwork and tactics define how victories are dealt.
i would spare a ugly girls but not a nice looking one :p JK
honestly i my self think some guys dont try their best vs girls cause if it heppend that the girl was better they wouldent handle it :P thats just some ofc some just dotn like hitting girls :>

I odn't know why its just that i don't feal as comfortable hiting girls as i do guys. I also play football as a running back and one time i had this huge run and there was one guy in my way so i decided instead of deking him id just put down the shoulder and run through the mutha,layed him out and i was all proud untill they took his helmet off and he was a she and i felt so bad i left the game a drove her to the hospital and bought her flowers and shit like, hitting girl just doesn't seem right

in england we play the same game, but without padding and helmets. you know who is a girl and who is a guy that way

IM from Canada and yea we do, the USA does too. The military university i plan on going to has an anual game against the american military university rugby team. They also play a game with a soccer ball, it has absolutly no rules accept the ball has to go in the net off ur foot, number on each team has no specific amout, no boundries. Just a free for all, but it's just a Canadian military traditional game.
Ive sparred with two diffrent girls.... one of them i just dodged and moved cuz it was her first time. The second one is the girl who is running the gym half the time.... i gave her a spankin but shes got a lil attitude... and when i hit the body she got hurt cuz if u hit em in the chest by accident or even on a combo it hurts em really bad... so just cover up and throw less shots... and after shes tired try to spar with some guy u can tear up
Gettin hit in the chest doesn't hurt that bad - its all padding! Been kicked in the chest before playin rugby - that hurts!jxx
