The only thing we don't know about Molitor is how well he takes a punch from someone with the power of Caballero, that's what really worries me about this fight.
He got dropped by 3K Battery (I think it was him), but it was a flash KD and ruled a slip...

WBA super-bantamweight champion Celestino Caballero (30-2 21KO) has arrived in Toronto in advance of his unification bout this Friday with undefeated IBF champ Steve Molitor. The Panama native is captured here working out in the Cabbagetown Boxing Club, "I don't see the fight going the distance," said a confident Caballero. Action gets underway this Friday at 11pm on Showtime in the USA and TSN in Canada.
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
I'm already nervous about this fucker. Molitor by close UD/SD. That's going with my heart, not my head.
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
This gonna be on TSN fellas?
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
Really have no clue about this one, hope I can catch it somehow though. Molitor is an excellent technical fighter who should have an edge on Caballero from the outside(which is where you would assume this fight will take place), but he isn't really slick and doesn't really like to do a lot inside. I haven't seen enough of Caballero to really know whethere this will be telling though, he seems to do best from range when he can get leverage. I would think Molitor can outmove and time him taking the decision, but wouldn't be surprised whatever happens, Cabalerro is somewhat an unknown to me.
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
I got Caballero dominating Molitor. Maybe stopping him late.

Yup, live.
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
I'm not very familiar with both fighters, but I'm excited about the match. Is Caballero really 5'11 fighting at featherweight? Sounds like the Paul Williams of the lower divisions.
Re: Molitor-Caballero set for November 21
Molitor-Caballero officials named!
Puerto Rico's Luis Pabon has been given the refereeing assignment for Friday night's Super Bantamweight title unification bout between IBF champion, "The Canadian Kid" Steve Molitor, and WBA kingpin, Celestino Caballero, of Panama. Like Pabon, all three ringside judges scoring the bout are geographically neutral, with Connecticut's Glenn Feldman, New Jersey's Eugene Grant, and Thomas Miller of Ohio rendering the decision should the fight go to the scorecards. Supervising from ringside will be IBF representative Lindsey Tucker, and the WBA's Michael Welsh, both hailing from New Jersey. Steve Molitor vs. Celestino Caballero, the first unification fight ever held in Canada, will be televised live in the US on Showtime's popular ShoBox: The Next Generation series, and across Canada on TSN, beginning at 11:00 PM Eastern (Tape delayed on the West coast in the US). Tickets for Rumble at Rama VI are $50/$75/$125/$175 and are available in-person at the Casino Rama Box Office, at all TicketMaster locations, by calling (416) 870-8000 and online at Homepage | Casino Rama. Ticket prices do not include applicable taxes or service charges.

Why would anyone call you crazy for that?
Caballeros the favorite coming into the fight....

He's like Carlos Maussa but with a more skill, throws big swinging shots sometimes and never seems to make full use of his height and reach.

Let's get in on ....
In the first 12-round world title unification fight in the eight-year history of ShoBox: The New Generation and the first to take place in Canada, undefeated IBF champion Steve "The Canadian Kid" Molitor (28-0, 11 KOs) and WBA super bantamweight champion Celestino Caballero (30-2, 21 KOs) will collide this Friday, Nov. 21, from Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada, live on SHOWTIME (11 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast). Both the Canadian, Molitor, and the Panamanian, Caballero, have made five successful defenses of their respective 122-pound titles. The event will be promoted by Orion Sports Management. Here's what the fighters and their camps had to say at Wednesday's final press conference:
Steve Molitor: I've been reading in the media that he thinks I'm a pretty boy. We'll, we know his eyesight is just fine. I'm not worried about anything else other than sticking to my game plan Friday night. He can say what he wants, it doesn't matter. This is a great event and he's a great champion, but I came prepared and on Friday night I'll be the unified champion.
Celestino Caballero: I want to thank God for the opportunity to find out who is the best 122-pound fighter in the world. This is a great fight for the sport. Molitor is a great world champion, but he has to prove it. And I'm a great world champion, but I have to prove it as well. Molitor has never fought a real man before. All these guys that he's fought … 3K Battery, (Takalani) N'Dlovu, (Ricardo) Castillo, (Fernando) Beltran, are not in my league. I'm a real man.
Stephane Larouche (Molitor's Trainer): I can tell you Steve is 100 percent ready, and prepared, but that's normal for him. He's constantly ready. With Steve on Friday night, you'll see the difference between a runner and a slick boxer. Caballero is strong, big, awkward and has a lot of tools, but Steve will be on both of Caballero's arms, showing him different angles with his slick style. It's going to be a great fight.
Allan Tremblay (Molitor's promoter): This fight is a culmination of 1 1/2 years of hard work to bring big-time boxing to Ontario. It's been one hell of a journey. And Friday night should be one hell of a fight.
Leon Margules (President, Seminole Warriors Boxing, Caballero's promoter): We've got two great champions putting their belts up against each other, trying to settle who the best fighter at 122 pounds in the world is, and make no mistake about it, the winner will be the best there is, bar none.
