Interesting, thanks for the info. You think it was mainly due to ring rust considering his 17 month (I think) lay-off?

I thought Hunter won fairly.

The other bloke did land some good punches, but no surprises that Hunter won.

I missed the fight but glad he came through,perhaps a bit rusty which is understandable.

I thought Hunter fought okay.He really well considering being out of the ring 9months and only boxed once beforehand in the year before 2007.So in theory he only fought 2 in 2 years!I thought Hunter's jab was great in the early rounds.It showed as the fight drew on that a sign of a little ring rust was showing!Mind you he done will and obviously won it by points.He was really threw in the deep end having to fight Aktas as a return fight.Atkas was a hard opponant!
Hunter has mention that he is after Redall Munroe's Euro title,Mathew Marsh's British Title.I'd like to see Hunter fight another fight or two before going for a title!All in all Hunter done well and its great to see him back fighting again.

I agree,a couple more fights to throw the cobwebs off and he should be ready,its interesting that he is not going back to his old ways of heavy drinking between fights,that can only be good for his future,well done again Michael.
