as much as i like mosley if Margarito fights like he did againse cotto mosley is on his way to the morgue :(

Mosley has a chance.But I do not think it is in his mindset to to back off and totally box it out now He wants to fight in there when he is hit.And I'm not even sure it is still his 'option' to be on the quick foot all night ?To win,he will have to step inside, and hurt Tony,head/body....rinse-repeat.Lesson learned from Cotto fight Imo.
Are you kidding me, I don't think Oscar is any indication of what would happen with Margarito, but he is considerably faster than Cotto, he is on a totally different level in handspeed and especially in foot speed. What Margarito against Santos, he doesn't deal with body shots well, the most obvious situation I've seen him floored is by a body shot. Margarito has a great chin nobody is denying that, but Mosley minus one moment is completely indestructible, he took the same shots from Cotto that Margarito did, and took them just as well. My question is when have you seen Margarito in against a guy like Winky WRight or Vernon Forest? I say they both badly outbox Margarito. Obviously I think if Mosley tries to outfight Margarito which is likely to happen he will lose, but if he uses a modicum of footwork, I think Antonio will have big problems. Cotto can't move well, when he use moves around the ring he doesn't move fluidly, but as some have noticed Margarito follows you, he doesn't cut off the ring at all. If he can consistently have Mosley against the ropes then he wins a UD, but if Mosley uses good lateral movement, comes in quick gets off a combinations, and then gets out, I think Shane wins.
You can't compare what happened against Shane when he fought Cotto, Wright, Forrest because they are all technically vastly superior to Margarito. Cotto is probably the least technically skilled out of the three and you all saw what he did to Margarito for six rounds, but even he won a close fihgt with Mosley, where Mosley's will was driving Cotto back by the end of it. Forrest and Winky beat a younger Mosley much easier. If Mosley instead of trying to beat Margarito up decides to throw a lot of punches ala Joe Calzaghe, I think Antonio will be fucked, otherwise Mosley gets badly dominated, his defense is his speed and reflexes and its hard to use those off the ropes.
Tony has been hit to the body but most recently has shown big increase in his ability to defend his body,tucking his elbows in but still getting of inside uppercuts and short shots.They say you can shake off some head shots but the body is an entirely different thing......When Tony was dropped vs.Juan Soberanes I believe,Ten years ago,it was a liver shot from which he rose and went on to win a descision.BTW....Mosley was not only dropped by Forrest in the second round 2 off head shots but was himself hurt big time to the body about the 10th round of that fight.
I don't really see the relevance in Tony vs. Forrest and Wright in hypothetical's.I'm sure a Paul Williams is similar to A Forrest in height,range and the like but that was hardy a blow out for Williams.For Mosley in those fights he was also acting as the punch first aggressor mostly....as opposed to what would suit him best.I do not think Mosley has the reflex mobility he once had,it is not in his mind set to smartly stick & move box at this point rather than his aggression & pride getting the better of his judgment and he squares up with Tony,swapping shots.Not good.Mosley is more solid than Cotto...'thicker' but he must move here after sitting on some hard shots.Not like Cotto...who at times seemed to be 'punching from the backseat',trying to get out too fast?
Mosley is a great.A solid professonal that has given everything of himself to the fans.Glad this one is coming off But there is an emmence difference to what Mosley may need to do as opposed to what he will be able to do now.
I think Mosley will do well in the first few rounds due to Margarito being a slow starter but after Antonio gets warmed up he pounds out a UD.
Margarito is a heavy favorite because Mosley has never been great against guys who want to fight him.
I like Margarito over 12....with a possibility of a late TKO.I think Mosley leaves it all in the ring like a champ and go's all Braveheart in there.Really like this match-up !!!

If Margarito keeps constant pressure on Mosley, which he most likely will, then Shane is in for a long night.

I like both guys but im gunna put my neck on the line and say Shane by SD12 but i like both so i won't be shouting or rooting for either may the best man win.
Well judging by there last fights.Mosley is going to lose BIG TIME!
I love both of these guys but i am going for Tony he is just gonna grind Mosley into the ground Tony UD with a possible late TKO;D

Heart says Mosley.
Mosley is old and he hasnt been looking especially peachy for a good while. He has the tools to make Margarito look sloppy, but I dont know if he has enough to keep enough to keep it going over 12.
I hope he can.
