They just started advertising that over here and comes out 7th of January I think.. or something like that... Just from the ad's i've seen on television, I can't work out what it's even about???? I'll probably pass on the spoiler.. The Mrs is probably going to drag me to see it sometime..
Another one that looks interesting is Curious Case of Benjamin Button.... The one where the guy is born old and gets younger through his life... Looks incredibly strange and possibly a bit of a ladies movie...
Has anyone seen this?? Another one i'll be dragged to in the next few weeks, so a heads up if I should bring my PSP :) kidding...
I've only got a DS...
Seven Pounds is a great film mate but honestly if you are capable of being even remotely emotional over movies I wouldn't watch it in a public theatre. I sat at home on my own and couldn't help shedding a tear or two, if I'd have been in public I would have had to kill myself. :p
Benjamin Button is my viewing choice this weekend, it's supposed to be the best film of the year, has gotten great reviews.
My favourite film of the year so far though has been Taken with Liam Neesen. That film was just fucking rocked

Shows that we all have different tastes..
I'm a real fan of cheap thrills though... I do like deeper stuff of course, but rarely is a big blockbuster with even a half decent story line wasted on me..
I didn't like Crash either.. Didn't like Monsters Ball or whatever with Halle Berry.. Plus this one will probably get me crucified by a few people, but I wouldn't put Halle Berry in my top 200,000 most attractive women on earth.. Neither with Angelina Jolie.. Both are as overrated to me as just about anything can be overrated....
Darn, every time I try to think of some of the movies I didn't like, I end up just thinking of actors I don't like..
I'll have to dig up one of our "recommend me a movie" threads.. I remember most of the movies recommended were brilliant, but there were a few that I thought were horrible...
Yah man, here our tastes are similar, I also think Jolie is overrated on the hotness scale. A little too skinny and precious for my liking. And not a good actress. I'll say one thing in her defense, she does put her money where her mouth is when it comes helping people in poverty. I think Halle Berry is pretty cool though, until she opens her mouth, which kinda spoils it for me. We wouldn't last a week.

Fight Club i have no idea how it got such a following i think its one of the worst movies i've ever seen. I watched it again just to make sure i didn't miss something, but i didn't just a terrible boring movie throughout.

Really? Me and Danny just watched it last night too.
It was okay, and yeah, I cried at the end, but it was a bit predictable for me. The only thing that surprised me, is what was used to end it, although it shouldn't have. I'm sure you know what I mean, I don't want to give it away for anyone that hasn't seen it.

Babel has been mentioned and is spot on.
Most pure action movies, really they all bore me. Die Hard included.
Really?
Sure you're not confused? With Bruce Willis, terrorists taking over the Nakatomi plaza?
I'm not even angry, just sad.
Die hard is one of greatest movies ever made in my book, perfection

I didn't like Reservoir Dogs.
Too short and it was like the whole story was shot in the warehouse.
Re: Supposedly "great" movies that kind of sucked
the departed, not sayin it was crap but was no way as good as everyone was saying
Wall-e, this started well then i just didnt care after twenty mins
Get smart, this was just not funny enough, see all the best clips in the 2 min trailer
Be Kind Rewind, had to turn this off it was so poor
The thin red Line, some people have this as there favourite war film of all time, i sat & watched all 3 hrs of that shite in the cinema, i just didnt care who lived & who died in the end just wanted it to end
Appollo 13, snorefest with the always boring tom hanks
these are the ones that come to mind

What spoiled Titanic for me was at the Begining. They told you the Boat sank, it spoiled the ending for me.
