Right now,Im not saying he did or didnt,let the tests happen first. But the red flag that flew up was that someone from Mosely's camp knew to ask that the wraps be re-checked. There is someone watching their hands wrapped, and that was my point from the beginning if you look at my original post. I simply stated that if there is someone watching the hand wrapping at every fight, how is it possible that margarito has done this before and not been caught? I'm NOT SAYING HE HASNT DONE IT, but i'm simply asking the question. I find it hard to believe that if he did this previously, and consistently that it took this long for it to be caught.
And you also made the point that i was trying to make to TM. I don't care how hectic the job is, although i understand and respect it, but it is YOUR JOB to make sure the hands are wrapped legally and safe. This was a title fight, a huge fight, there should be more than one person watching the wrapping if thats the case.
If you watch some of the big PPV fights, they interview the fighter in their dressing room while the instructions are given to them, and if you notice there are a number of guys there watching the hands being wrapped. This is protocol.. hence the "i've already given you the instructions in your dressing rooms" line at the beginning of every fight. It's not JUST when the ref checks their gloves at the beginning of the fight. If that were the case you could put bricks in your gloves.

Ruben has worked the corner of over 300 world title fights. He's the best in the business. His hand wraps feel like mini casts on my hands. It truly makes a difference in the fight if my hand wraps are done correctly. In this video you'll see the Arizona Commission rep look closely at the way Gomez is wrapping my hands. There can only be a certain amount of tape allowed.
Not only do they witness the wrapping, but also when he puts the gloves on, they witness the tape near the wrist of the glove, and also the tying of the glove.
