Haye Klitschko is falling apart- Talks Suspended

Klitschko has two options, Haye or Arreola. If he fights Arreola he gets the gate, HBO money and German TV money. UK TV money would be a few thousand quid only. But he has to pay Arreola 20-25% of that. If he fights Haye he gets to keep 100% of that, Haye just taking the UK TV money. So it's obvious that he's bottling fighting Haye. Haye is the bigger profile fight and the bigger money and Klitschko Junior is hurriedly following in Senior's footsteps by running away from fighting Haye. You really have to wonder at those two giant lumps being scared to fight a chinny cruiser, don't you?

Haye deserves the smaller split. He's not the champion. He hasn't even proven he's a contender in the Heavyweight division. You say Wlad has never done good PPV numbers. That's cuz he's never headlined a PPV. LOL. What are Haye's numbers? Are they any better?

I still think this fight will happen. It's probably just Wlads team frightening Hayes into being more professional about things.

Haye is offering to fight for British TV money only as his purse. If the Klitschkos were serious they'd snap his hand off. The fight may still happen but right now it sounds like the klitschko negotiating team are just throwing up a bunch of excuses and running away.

Hey I didn't say Haye should recieve a equal split, but it shouldn't be a drastically smaller split.. it should be around 60 - 40 maybe. Haye will undoutably bring a fair share to the table with PPV's with the sheer interest he is bringing to his name.

I say 75-25 is more fair. All this talk of Haye being a big draw is just that. Talk. If he has such a big following why he only draw 6,000 for his fight with Barrett? It's obvious Haye is not the big draw people claim he is.

Haye should man up and make a deal. Either he wants to fight the champ or he doesn't. Perhaps it's all just a desperate ploy to try and maximise his final payday. Klitschko is clearly the man with the belts and the name opponents on his resume. He doesn't need Haye, and I don't blame him if he walks away.

I must admit that sounded strange to me also. And I also believe it's not necessarily for Wlad but either brother. Then again Vitali has always had to sort people out for hammering Wlad with the exception of Brewster who Wlad managed to deal with himself.

Wlad is the FAR more economically viable fighter than Haye. He brings more TV money by virtue of being a regular HBO fighter (in contrast to Haye, who has only appeared once on Showtime and never on HBO--he's a virtual unknown in the US). And his gate draw is overrated as they had a lot of empty seats for his fight against Barrett. That would never happen at a Wlad fight in Germany regardless of opponent. Haye deserves SIGNIFICANTLY less of the split. If he wants more, he needs to get on the major networks and impress the people against legit heavyweight contenders, thus creating more interest in himself and the fight. He won't do that though because he knows the first legit heavy to tag him on the chin will put him to sleep.

So Lennox Lewis sucked as well because Wlad and Lewis have a very similar style....Wlad is top ten in knockout percentage of active fighters.....You must be one of those people that enjoyed when Ruiz and Byrd were champions.....:rolleyes:

You must have missed Ibragimov fighting Shannon Briggs then. You can't make a fight engaging if you have an opponent who stays way on the outside. That fight was boring because of Ibragimov, not Klitschko.

You can make the fight engaging by engaging the other guy in a fight. Despite being about a foot taller with massive reach advantage (it looked like a middleweight fighting a heavyweight) Klitschko did nothing but jab his way to one of the most boring victories ever. And that's all he ever does in any fight. Occasionally he throws a couple of punches and then holds but every time he fights he sends everybody to sleep. The sooner that fraud retires from boxing the better.

Kirkland you are just plain and simple a hater. You have no respect for anything he does much less the skill it takes to do what he does. Wladimir is a smart fighter as was Lennox Lewis....and I can remember Lennox getting the same crap because he wasn't Mike Tyson.

David Haye is not only an unproven heavyweight, he's a dumb fighter and because he's a dumb fighter he will lose early and often in his tenure as a heavyweight fighter. David Haye's name will be chalked up somewhere between the chinny Frank Bruno and the hype machine Audley Harrison and that's if Haye is lucky and not exposed as a total fraud in his first big time fight.

There are obviously reasons that Haye will not sign to fight Wladimir. Haye has begged Wladimir for the shot and Wlad wanted to be a good guy and give Haye a shot and any smart fighter or anyone who truly wanted the fight would have signed no matter what BUT the fight hasn't been signed and of course it isn't due to Wladimir simply because when the guy with the belts comes to the table he holds the cards.
