I agree, Khan would take Murray and it won't happen. We won't see him against Prescott for a while, he's one guy who actualyy has a reach advantage over him at LW and will get to him again sometime over the 12.
I wouldn't mind a rematch with Marco, the cut clearly bothered him a lot, and as Khan would tire late I could see him coming on, it would be good experience for him to experience being pressured late in a 12 rounder.
Juan Diaz KO's Khan IMO, and JMM does it earlier, but a David Diaz is there to be outboxed.

I think he could beat David Diaz too. I think he could have beaten him a few fights ago.
I don't see where this world title is coming from all the time JMM, JDiaz, Guzman, Romanov are involved.
Maybe Khan could outbox Romanov. I certainly wouldn't bet on it though.
The cut ruined the fight but Barrera never got in a sniff to warrant doing it again. That wont happen anyway.

I've only read about the fight, but from what I gather, Khan should give Barrera a rematch. Once that takes place, his handlers should put him in with people who are going to test his chin, but don't have big punches. David Diazesque. What's the rush? He is 23, right? He should perfect his boxing before fighting the elite level.

the cut did ruin the fight no doubt about it but there was no way MAB could match Khan's speed and youth.
There was the chance of course for him to nail him as the fight went on longer - he did land 2-3 decent punches even when covered in blood.
The cut will always leave questions unfortunately
As said I would leave a Prescott rematch until he holds a version of the title (prescott has entered the Ring's top ten rankings by the way). He would have a chance of beating Katsidis or Diaz (David or Julio) I reckon by doing what he did Saturday for 12 rounds !
But as for JMM, Juan Diaz forget it for now.
Opponent will need to be decent for a June fight on Sky BO so maybe Alex Arthur as mentioned. Or what about Casamayor ? He is knocking on a bit and maybe there for the taking ??

Warren got the result he wanted and Khan is box office again. I know Warren is talking about world titles next but I'm guessing Khan will be wrapped up in cotton wool again for at least a couple of fights. I think Fenster is right about his next opponent.

Barrera wasn't getting beaten as bad as I drunkenly thought. I missed the lefthook at the end of the 2nd that shook Khan and had him grabbing on for dear life :o. Barrera done Khans legs in the 4th too (which i had originally seen).
I never realised how badly the cut HURT Barrera. His back peddling to the ropes allowed Khan to pressure him for a good minute and completely swing the round.
This is a silly thing to say but - without the cut and the premature forced ending we could be talking about a different result. Khan is only ever one punch away from kipping.

Good to hear that. I'm stunned by these people who think that Khan "dominated" Barrera. Considering the circumstances it is no surprise that Khan was able to win the rounds and he did win the rounds. But even then Barrera showed he was there and wasnt being hit all that cleanly at all.
The cut ruined it, and for Khan to run his gobby little mouth saying he would have "brutally" knocked Barrera out shows a complete lack of class. He seems to be a prat, and I look forward to seeing him flat on his back again...which will be sooner rather than later judging by recent history.
I'm really annoyed having read that BBC interview with Khan you posted yesterday. Khan certainly doesnt know how to show respect or try to muster support from the doubters. Screw him! :rolleyes::mad:

Which is why the logical next fight now he's got his mojo back is another blown-up superfeather like Alex Arthur. But how well would it do on PPV? There must be some past-it former super-feather champion out there who can trade on his name to get a fight with Khan, anothe r Barrera-style opponent.
