:) nah, maybe he deserved the loss against Tito, but he earned the win.

i had DLH winning all 3 fights, Trinidad, Mosley II, and Quartey
Re: Inarguably the best boxer of Mexican descent
I cant imagine any other mexican fighter that fought Oscar competion would of lost most to almost all of them i while go as far to say. That Barrea, Morles, and Chavaz fought pound for pound against Mosley, Mayweather, and Bernard they would lose in a way worse fashion. Even with his loses Oscar still has beaten more top guys then any mexican and has captured more titles in different weight classes as well you look at all the mexicans records and even with his loses Oscar still has the best one.

Disagree. I thought his best fight was against Trinidad, he really boxed circles around him. Even when DLH was gassed in the last few rounds, Trinidad couldn't really touch him. DLH was very good in the second fight against Mosely also. Same thing, he was gassed in the last couple rounds but still outboxed him on the whole. He's had some bad luck with the decisions.
Oscar has had his gifts as well, Strum being the best example. No way can ODH compete with JCC, MAB and Morales.

i'm sure you mean Sturm ;D haha and what fighter hasn't had gifts? I thought Morales got lucky with the first fight against Guty Espadas, Chavez was given a gift draw against Whitaker, and Barrera was given a gift in his 2nd fight against Morales

umm Oscar's parents were both Mexican immigrants just cause he was born in the US doesn't make him less Mexican, hell Margarito was born in the Torrance, CA, USA, i guess he's not considered to be a Mexican fighter either

I had him 1-1-1 in that trio. Draw with Tito,Loss to Mosley and had him by a hair over Ike.He caught alot of names at the exact right time...and weight.Shite....I thought Genaro Hernandez would beat him...whoops:-X
Re: Inarguably the best boxer of Mexican descent
To my mind Julio Cesar Chavez is the finest Mexican fighter ever, but it is close; how close? The kid from Culiacan gets the nod by about two seconds. ;)
My top 10:
10 Erik Morales
9 Vicente Saldivar
8 Lupe Pintor
7 Salvador Sanchez
6 Marco Antonio Barrera
5 Jose Napoles (Adopted Mexico as his own country; Cuban by birth)
4 Ricardo Lopez
3 Ruben Olivares
2 Carlos Zarate
1 Julio Cesar Chavez
Mentions to: Humberto Gonzales, Miguel Canto, Rodolfo Martinez, Alfonso Zamora, Daniel Zaragoza, Joe Rivers, Baby Arizmendi, Chalky Wright, Manuel Medina, Rafael Limon, Jose Luis Ramirez and Jose Luis Castillo.

what about Pipino Cuevas, Kid Azteca, and Jorge Paez?
Re: Inarguably the best boxer of Mexican descent
Talking about Mexicans ......What do mexicans have under their floorboards?
Underlay Underlay.
;D
Re: Inarguably the best boxer of Mexican descent
It's not even debatable IMO. Julio Cesar Chavez beat much much better competition and just looked better than Finito.
Re: Inarguably the best boxer of Mexican descent
Lopez is the best for me, although a fight with Carbajal or Gonzalez would have gone some way to confirm that for me. I also rate Salvador Sanchez & maybe Zarate above him. Although Chavez had the best resume
