When Vazquez has serious eye issues that why he has not been fighting has nothing to do with resting
Jim Gray interviewed Izzy during the Darchinyan-Mijares fight. He said he's ready for the fourth fight with Rafa. He look fine in that interview. So I don't know what the hell is taking so long. Are they still under Shaw? No wonder why Donaire bailed out on Shaw.

Dominate is to strong a word. He was winning
What I saw was Darchinyan lose the first 4 rounds and than get knocked out in the 5th
Okay...
since I appreciate C-Lo's and VD's opinion I'll have to rewatch the fight in the next days, but I couldn't care less what an overly loud newbie or Taeth are thinking...And don't get me wrong I like Donaire and think he could become a really, really big name...I just don't think that his fight with Darchinyan till the ko was as onesided as people here make it sound(but like I said I'll rewatch the fight and may see it different)...
Thanks man! I really never saw Vic in the fight at all. Donaire had him flustered and blindsided him.

Are they as good as what those 3 fighters vic dominated? If they are not then vic should be put ahead as he has done much more. P4P has always been about what you have done recently...when they update it the last couple of spots have always been dealt with in a "what have you done for me lately" kind of attitude. I agree the top spots are thought about more because they are at the top and if they are inactive then they get some slack.
Ranking pound for pound really is very tricky. For now, Vic needs to fight Donaire. If he wins, he could jump 3 to 4 spots.
So Vic would need to fight and beat Donaire to be ranked above him.
If p4p was like that then why is Mosley ranked over Cotto? ;)
Good point! I never thought about it that way. P4P IMO was mostly based on "What have you done for me lately?" In this case, Vic should be higher than Donaire. They should just set up another fight so Donaire can rightfully take his place in front of Vic cause I really don't think the outcome would change.

As I stated above, P4P is "what have you done for me lately?" I would start moving fighters who are more active above them. Once Vasquez starts winning again, then he will climb the rankings or retake his place. I, personally, can't reward people P4P status when they're not active or plan on being active soon enough. But that's just me.
