Dorin clearly dominated Spadafora a few years ago in one of the best fight of the year but one of the judges saw it draw and another one gave it to Paul, one of the worst draw decisions IMO.
Spinks vs. Mayorga.
Ricardo Mayorga was robbed in that fight, with terrible judging and bs point deductions. They took an exciting power punching welterweights title and gave it to a boring runner because of his last name.
A lot of the fights being mentioned were close not robberies. However Leonard himself admitted he should not have got the decision. Hearns jab won most of the rounds, Leonard had two big rounds think the last and round 5 but the knockdowns were the definite clinchers. (Another reason to hate you Brit Kid- LOL)Quote:

Yep, it was Dierdorf. A hush fell across Trumps as the people just stood their in disbelief. Toney, who was hanging across the rops totally exhausted, showed shock, albeit pleasant, when the decision was announced. Then, the croed started yelling "bullshit bullshit" and that went on for quite some time.
I disagree BK i just watched that again recently and to me SRL only won 2 rounds really clearly, and that was the 5th and the 12th. Where he badly stunned Thomas Hearns.Quote:

And the 5th round was a 10-8 round for SRL no question, but the 12th round clearly wasn't. I don't care what the punchstats said Thomas Hearns clearly made it his kind of fight.
He controlled the fight mostly from the outside with his long jab, and SRL was slower than normal and struggled to get on the inside. He took Thomas Hearns a bit lightly cause he see Thomas Hearns get layed out by Iran Barkley.
And he thought sooner or later he would be able to catch up to Thomas Hearns suspect chin, but that wasn't the case he was frustrated mostly all night long and he only won about 4 rounds IMO. And even SRL said himself he lost the fight, so i think that basically ends the debate of anyone who thought it was close enough for SRL to earn a draw.
