Some of the comments about Khan are truly disgusting like the one from MILES in an earlier thread of how he wishes Khan gets BRAIN DAMAGED in a fight!! Man after seeing what happened to Gerald Mcclellan that is disturbing and is way beyond your general disliking of a boxer, more like some sort of personal, racist vendetta. To make things worse saying that "after the Barrera fight" you started to dislike Khan is clearly a lie as you have been posting hate filled posts ever since Khan entered the world stage.
Khan does get a hard time on here & there are the odd posters who I have to say I do have suspicions about as they will support any white, British fighter, but often seem desperate to see an ethnic fighter fail. However, none of them are posters who are anything more than a joke, & Miles certainly isn't one.
Him saying he hopes Khan gets brain damaged (if he did, I don't think he ever went that far) is him being a twat, not a racist. He generally seemed indifferent to Khan prior to the MAB fight, & then that fight drove him into a rabid Khan-hater & I think what happened with the fight made that worse. There is undoubtedly a racial element to boxing & how its fighters are treated by some, but I have to say it is significantly better than almost every other sport & calling people racist for any dislike is pathetic. I must hate Carl Froch simply because he's white  I think I'll change my name to JazFarrukhan.
PS. can we stop pulling the 'pulling the race card' card any time anyone mentions race? Although in this case it was warranted, it's an easier cop-out than actually discussing the topic & than showing people up for the ridiculous accusations.
The brain damage thing sounds totally unlike anything I would say, so I have a hard time believing that I ever said that. I was a bit surprised by Mikay's initial post to be honest.
The second highlighted part is a pretty crude, but accurate appraisal of how my feelings to Khan have emerged. The Barrera fight was not a pleasant one for me to endure at all and had a devastating effect upon my mental equilibrium.
I didn't think it was like you to say something like that, but let's say you got drunk, were in a bad mood & wrote that, it would still not be you being a racist, just a knob. However, I doubt you said it unless he can prove otherwise. I do think you give Amir a hard time, but then my own illogical dislike for Lucian Bute after the Andrade fight means I can understand. I'd hate to think what would happen to you if he beat Hatton :-\;D

I hope all you Khan haters have the same level of absolute contempt for the attitude of Andre Direll who has stated that this new Supermiddleweight Six Man Tournament will put him on the road to being the greatest p4p fighter of all time.:)

How do you wreck seven cars "in your youth"? :shakehead:
Khan is the man.

Khan should basically stay away from fighters that I like if he ever wants the chance to grow on me. By fighting Barrera there was only ever going to be one fighter I was interested in seeing as the winner. Likewise, if he wants to fight Hatton the same thing is bound to happen. A victory over Hatton could have far reaching consequences. Hopefully that will never happen. :o;D

Yeah, that takes some doing.
He should ride a bicycle or take the train.

Tournament announced! | Fightnews - Boxing News Updated 24/7
Dirrell said, “my heart is beating 100 miles per hour. It’s because I know I’m in a blessed position to become the greatest of all time.
I should note that personally I like this attitude, I want all these guys to have unnatural confidence, fearless like mighty warriors of old.
But to be consistent all the Khan bashers will have to hate on Dirrell now and tell us how much his attitude stinks when he has beaten absolutely nobody and had everything given to him on a silver platter.
Re: Khan eyeing P4P title WTF
I like Khan and Dirrell. Dirrell's the better fighter but they both have potential.
Was just watching Dirrell versus Tony Hanshaw. Hanshaw had pretty good first and then in the early second Dirrell slipped and Hanshaw followed him over and leaned down and got in his face. Dirrell then went on to kick his ass and talk to him about while he did it. I liked that. The showtime announcers were talking about Dirrell's antics making him lose the crowd, f that if somebody tries to make a mug out of you and make you look like a fool then you have every right to laugh while you beat the shit out of him.
I'm rooting for Dirrell in the tourney.
I think you can see through his chin. Possibly. Other than that he's probably the most talented guy there.

Does he have several websites in his honour? Is he constantly splattered all over the press? Is his trainer always telling us how great he is?
No, No and No.
Getting one shot and talking it up is a little different to doing it every time you open your mouth otherwise I'd say yes, I'd hate him and pretty much any big headed mouthy tosser.
