There in lays the problem. Boxing fans try to diss one fighter on what they believe to be morals but when another fighter violates them they get praised for it. No one rooting for what Shane did should complain about the stuff Mayweather does to hype fights. Shane didn't have to do anything at all like that. Mayweather even invited them to bring Shane over and it just turned into all of that. How anyone can defend what Shane or Hopkins did is terrible. Regardless on whether you like Shane or Bernard or not you have to call them on that. That was pretty rude of Mosley and Hopkins but i actually found it amusing. I think Mosley has a much better shot at Floyd than Pac-man does. Mosley's main advantage is that Floyd can't hurt him like he could Marquez or Pacquio, yeah he's not the slickest boxer, but he's good enough to give him a realistic shot.
I cant see anything wrng with what Shane did. Floyd invited him over and he conducted himself liek a gentleman, they shook hands and continued to do so as they spoke. Its when Hopkins and Floyds team started shouting that it got ugly. Shanes not to blame. Kellerman clearly annoyed Floyd and put him into defensive mode rather than the civilised mode which he tried to adopt at first for the interviewQuote:

He probably should have asked a few more questions about the fight before getting to the weight issue. I think Mayweather probably should have been given a few more 'enjoy your victory, tell us how you did what you did' before getting to the 2 lbs issue. Merchant who I hate would of known to do that, because Floyd is hardly a guy known for not taking offence from the media easily.
Kellerman also shouldn't have given Mosley an opening & it started off ok, then B-Hop came & started talkin shit over the shoulder & it all got a bit messy. I was kinda hoping that a Triple H/B-Hop fight would kick off though ;D
Everyone is saying that Mayweather wasn't talkin shit at Mosley, but Mosley wasn't saying the stuff he'd been saying to Brian Kenny either. It more stunk of desperation.
I had a load of friends over & some of the girls hadn't seen a boxing fight before & I asked them had they ever heard of Shane Mosley - No. Heard of Manny Pacquiao - Yes. What do Golden Boy think the fight EVERYONE wants to see is. Even if Cotto beats him, which I don't think he will, I think that will bump up Cotto's star power over Shane.
I know Shane deserves a chance, he is the man at Welter, but he has had opportunities to fight Mayweather before. Now that it makes cash sense for him, he is definitely after it (or Pacquiao), but he needs to realise that he isn't the most viable money available to those guys. IF Mayweather fought Mosley in his next fight though, I don't think any reasonable person could say he's ducking a fighter.
Although boxing fans aren't known for being reasonable :-\
Mosley must be real frustrated with everyone ducking him and deserves to be next up. Nice post fight antics, already thinking about sales and hype!
