There is no doubt Prscott can bang. It's the likes of Michael Gomez flooring him late on in his career that showed Khans lack of chin to me.

Back to the point...Hatton is in serious danger of damaging his legacy. JMM is the wrong type of fighter for Hatton.

1) Hatton is mentally shot and lacks confidence, whereas JMM has shown time and time again that when he loses, he just comes back fighting physically and mentally.

2) Hatton cannot keep fluctuating in weight. look at him now...he's HUGE!

3) He needs a tune up fight like Lazcano. Get his confidence back a bit.

Chris John doesn't swarm, he's an ugly box/move fighter. I see a potential Marquez/Diaz style fight. It depends who is able to stick to the better fight plan.

I like your support for your boy but I really don't see how he could beat an artist like JMM.

The rumour is now up on Fightnews. I don't know what to think. :-\

I initially thought it is was an interesting proposal, but Hatton has ballooned up like an elephant. Marquez might be older and more shop worn, but you know for a fact he is in relatively decent shape right now. Hatton might well have gone all Vargas on us.

If the fight is to happen I am supporting Hatton, but I guess it is a case of lets wait and see. Hatton needs to face reality a bit if he is to continue or else he will get flattened like a steam roller over the face. Watch the Pac fight yer cretin!

But the crowd will be rapturous, the ring will be small and the ref will have no option other than to allow the contest to turn into an out an out fight.

Key factor will be whether ricky has it in him to produce a Tszyu like performance 4-5years on or is he wasted goods??

I can see another Hatton highlight reel KO coming on.

JMM is not a front foot fighter. He's a versatile guy that can take little steps back and counter, he can come forward but its not his preference. I swear HattonTheHammer's just fucking with us sometimes ;D I refuse to accept any other explanation.

And Amir is not a big puncher. He doesn't sit down on his punches. Arm punches mostly.
