Re: Few rumours I heard could be Khan v Judah on Mayweather undercard
I'm sure Salita was Khan's mandatory. And I think there's definitely a good possibility of Khan as chief support for Mayweather Manny as it would give Sky the opportunity to sell it as a PPV. Khan/Warren make a cut of the PPV, Khan gets the US shop window, Warren pushes him in his friend Bob Arum's direction and away from GBP as Warren has more chance of remaining co-promoter with Arum than GBP, the Mayweather Manny promotion gets an extra revenue stream, Sky make a few quid. Everybody is happy. They've got to be thinking about it.

Maidana was the mandatory, his fight against Ortiz was an eliminator bout to determine the #1 contender for Kotelnik's belt, the same title Khan won

Amir Khan will make the first defence of his world title against Dmitriy Salita at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on Saturday 5th December promoter Frank Warren confirmed today. Khan, who won the WBA light-welterweight belt in July with a punch-perfect performance over Andreas Kotelnik, faces a hard first defence against the new star of American boxing. Salita, the mandatory challenger for Khan's title, was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York, when he was nine years old.

Maidana down once in rd 1 & twice in rd 2. Ortiz also down in rd 1 & once in 6th.
in other words, making Maidana the #1 guy to get a shot at the title

Actually, no the WBA won't enforce a fight between it's respective 'champions' until they've both had the belt at least 6 months. They want to maximise the profits off them. Salita should have technically got the June fight with Kotelnik, so he was first in line for a shot at Khan.

I think Pac-FM will be PPV whoever is on the undercard.
And for once I wont mind paying.;D(as long as its less than 15quid)

It's a fact that fighters under Warren stay protected.
Calzaghe didn't get to fight Hopkins/ Jones till he left Warren. I could bet my house that if Calzaghe hadn't of left Warren, he'd of ended his career fighting Andrade
Same with Hatton. He only landed stateside after leaving Warren.
Khan, i'm sure has BIG aspirations but Warren is never gonna entertain that.
Khan ain't fighting Marquez or Judah in the next 18 months. Fact. Bam. Booyakasha!
Would be fun to see some 'Flying Fist of Judah' though ;D ;D

Last week Arum said something like "Britain is buying the fight this time" even though Sky showed Manny Cotto so maybe you're right. Maybe Sky have competition from Primetime for fights now but then why didn't Primetime go for Manny Cotto?

Thing is the mate Warren is not as influential as he was he has no longer got sole promoting rites on Khan's fights Khan has his own promotion company and he is now involved as they have signed a new contract with Warren's company being some sort of advisory role.
I think thats intresting no doubt if there is some sort of disagreement good old Franky will be fucked off in no time. I think once Khan hits the States and possibly makes it big no way he takes Warren with him, Warren is a british promoter and thats as far as it goes.
