Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
Any source bruce?
With the legal action now taking place and the fight seemingly off, it is a rather innapropriate time to suddenly be announcing that he is willing to undergo any form of testing.
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
Bruce just dreamed that, it's a normal occurrence. It never actually happened in reality.
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
He says he'll undergo scheduled tests, he isn't going to do random testing though. He'll basically agree to any amount of tests apart from ones that actually might catch him cheating.

He agreed to a random drug testings ( not olympic style) as long as it's not too close on fight night (e.g. 2 days before).
Isn't it good enough? Pac would have no chance of using PEDs with that kind of testing. I just hope that Miles is really knowledgeable about PEDS detection and that he's not getting this crazy ideas from the Internet and then claim knowledge on it as what haters are doing now.
It seems that almost everybody here are now an authority on PEDS just to back their claim that Pac is juicing. Whew.

Where does it say he's agreed to random testing?
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
I have written about PED's and how hard it is to detect them in previous threads. The drugs are ahead of the testing...the only way you can prove 100% an athlete is clean is through muscle biopsy...which i don't see any athlete or sports body agreeing to. Also, people know how to "cycle" off and on drugs. To truly show an athlete is clean, would require regular and much more thorough testing. It wouldn't shock me if Manny and many other "superstar" athletes are on something (including Floyd). But until the testing becomes much more stringent and up to date, we will never know. That being said, Pac's attitude towards blood testing makes him look particularly suspicious. Bottom line, PED's are a reality in sports...to think otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand.

With that said, I can not in good conscious continue to rank Pacdruggie in my personal p4p ranking. I have to much respect for the sport of Boxing to do that. I've revised my rankings to the following
1.Floyd Mayweather
2.Manny Pacquiao
3.Bernard Hopkins
4.Rafael Marquez
5.Shane Mosley
6.Juan Manuel Marquez
7.Hozumi Hasegawa
8.Israel Vazquez
9.Paul Williams
10.Celestino Caballero
11. Miguel Cotto
I had removed Cotto from my list originally. But since it's become pretty obvious he was beaten by a fighter taking illegal substances I decided to bring him back.
How can you ever put Shane on the list? It has been proven Shane took steroids.

Outstanding thread, if I do say so myself. Violent D never been hesitant to criticize his favorites. Pacquiao is no exception. It actually pained me to make this thread. But it had to be done
Re: The Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao
So Violent Demise, after the collapse of the last Pacquiao-Mayweather negotiation, what is your "Revaluation of Manny Pacquiao"?

The Re-Re-Evaluation of Pacquiao is a disappointing one The man ruined one of the most anticipated fights ever in Boxing with his refusal to test.

Yes it is. To think this highly anticipated fight ain't happening cuz of missed drug tests is a black eye for boxing.
