;D and a young one at that...
In her 20's right?
I can't remember. He got off though, didn't he?
Yeah and they got back together I think. :D
That's just sad.

I don't think he's good I don't think he's champ material and I think that Yordan would have beaten him as I had predicted prior to the fight.
Guerrero is the type of guy that I want to like. He's got a good story and he seems like a good guy, but he's only periodically entertaining and I just can't get behind him either.
Agreed...
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
Alright good talking to you guys.
Enjoy the fights I'm off to a bar to watch the rest of the card.
Damn! Just as a side note my girl looks fucken hot.
We might just lay one down THEN be on our way. ;D

I wish I lived in a place where I could go down to the bar to see a PPV fight. To the best of my knowledge, the only PPV fight that has ever been shown at a bar here was PBF-ODH and that cost me $12 to get in the door.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
4 rounds in and I'm already totally disinterested in this fight. Neither guy does anything for me. At least it's getting more competitive.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
What the fuck is guerrero doing, he can finish casa if he just throws more punches.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
Watching this, it seems like Guerrero has a tendency to slap his hooks.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
I dislike Guerrero as a fighter, don't like his style, he's a dirty fighter too, but I was glad to hear his wife seems to be doing better and hopefully she's out of the woods. Still, rooting for Casa. And yes i realize that i just listed Guerrero being dirty as one of the reasons I don't like him and then said I was rooting for Casamayor.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
Physically its all the Ghosts to take...mentally with Casa he may be a bit in over his head.Keep thinking of that cut he got against punching bag and shot up clubber Hinojosa (??) after Yordan bs.
His corner then..."show them you have a heart, you can fight with a cut, kept fighting" blah.Hate to say it...I agree with Lampley here :o He needs to attack!!
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
Casa aint trying to win...he's trying to make the bell to another payday! Dude has NO legs

I dislike him, but it's sad to see what he has become. Kind of like a poor-man's Castillo.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
This is kind of why I didn't go as nuts over this card as some, this on paper was a "big' fight but you knew it was going to be kind of dull.
Re: Marquez - Diaz II Fight Thread
Sweet, I've got a British stream. I love the Sky sports broadcast team.

He's literally content to stay upright, almost like he's "letting" him take his name, just do it on Casa's terms.I know, how cynical :-X In a weird way this is becoming one in which I wouldnt mind him landing a brick on Robert for win.The inability to capitalize is astonishing

I think people's excitement about this undercard just speaks to the relative weakness of most cards. I'm excited to see the Jacobs - Pirog fight though.
