I was ringside for that fight and remember thinking did he get clipped there. When I watched it on TV the day after he def was off balance. That was his biggest downfall vs Ruiz, his balance. But the lack of sparring can really damage important things like that.Quote:

Agreed one punch just isn't going to do it, he took enough single shots from peter without problem. I doubt that haye will get to land that shot on wlad anyways, but at this point honestly I'm not sure they're even getting in the ring with each other for the next year or 2 if at all.Quote:

Correct me if I'm wrong but Haye put Ruiz on his bum with the 1st right hand he landed.
He also put Barret down with the 1st left hook he landed.
Well that's kind of a poor sample group seeing how Monte Barrett has been KO'd several times and John Ruiz simply refused to fight a power puncher after the David Tua debacle. Nicolay Valuev had never been KO'd and he remains that way after having fought the current WBA title holder and that tells me more about his power than the fights vs Barrett and Ruiz.Quote:
