That's another thing that bugs me. The American bacon seems to be only this long streaky stuff. That just isn't bacon and just wouldn't work in a sandwich. But European style bacon is much better and fits perfectly. You need some nice bread too, but a bacon sandwich done in that way is very satisfying. I would die for some proper rashers of bacon.
I'm the same as you Saddo. When I came back home this summer my only goal was to eat everything that I had been deprived of. Kebabs, curries, pies, bacon, crisps, chocolate etc. It probably looked quite disgusting and a bit Hatton-esque, but I had 3 weeks and was going to use the time wisely. "Right, we are off to see bloody Buckingham palace? In that case I'm going to eat an extra large kebab on the way and nobodies gonna stop me!".
Still didn't gain a single pound on my travels. Must have been all the walking. :-\

I love twigglets, the curry ones were nice too. Frazzles anyone? OK the pack gets smaller and smaller every time I buy one so you actually get about 5 crisps per bag but fuck me they're good.
