Why are people sleeping on Alexander so much? Alexander is going to put bradley down if not to sleep, and win their showdown.
ANY BETS!!!
Khan vs Alexander, spring of 2011!!!
Bradley will beat Devon easily. Did you see how much trouble Kotelnik gave Devon? He beat Devon. In any other ring, Kotelnik would have got the win. Floyd Mayweather himself said that after the fight.
How do you favor Devon against Bradley when he had such a tough time with Kotelnik?
I'll take a bet on that one for sure. Get at me.
By way of comparison, did you see Khan's fight with Kotelnik? Khan won almost every round.
I think of all of these guys, Devon Alexander's stock has dropped the most. He just got outboxed by Kotelnik and imo lost that fight down the stretch.
I can't see him living with Khan at all. His only hope will be the knockout, but I'm not sure he is a big puncher really.
Bradley has too much fight in him to lose to Alexander. I think Devon gets to the bell, but see him wilting seriously down the stretch.
His performance against Kotelnik was a real disappointment. He needs a massive improvement to beat Bradley.
And even at his age that will likely not happen. At least not until his speed and stuff start going, and by then he will be washed up. Alexander simply relies on speed too much, and he makes what's coming super obvious because he always punches at the same speed, and his timing isn't that great.

Khan has a solid record at 140.
Malinaggi
Kotelnik
Maidana
Three out of his four fights at 140 he has fought three very good top ten fighter two of them for me are top five, McCloskey is over rated he has beat no one near top ten Khan would murder McCloskey imo.

Rantcatrat,
I agree with you, Alexander had a tough time with Kotelnik. IMO, Kotelnik won. But I don't only look at fighters last fight or bad fights and pick winners. If thats the case, Pacman will beat Floyd at the 2:59 mark of round 1 since he defeated DLH by TKO and Hatton by KO? Or is that what u think too? Looking at their individual skills, I'm riding with Alexander. He have a good jab. Not great. And he knows how to finish his punches. That's why I'm going with Alexander.

He will be destined for great fights but not greatness - though at same time another knockout loss could shatter his career.
I just watched fight again and can't believe he survived that tenth round so credit to him.
I had him a comfortable UD winner last night for his early work and haven't changed my mind after rewatching BUT I think Maidana got the better of him physically in the fight overall - if you know what I mean here ;) Apart from first Maidana wasnt really in trouble - and I am still amazed he managed to get up from that body shot !
I think he will have an easier time against Bradley than he did last mind
I don't disagree. Bradley doesn't have much punching power and Khan will fight at range. I think I favor him against Bradley right now although I'll be rooting for Bradley.
I agree that I thought he would have an easier time with Maidana after seeing him have easier times with Kotelnik (who beat Maidana) and Paulie who is a better boxer than Maidana. That is why I think punchers are always going to be tough for Khan for some reason.
I like Khan against Marquez at 140.
Did someone really suggest Maidana against Berto at 147? That's ridiculous. Maidana should try and secure a rematch with Khan or the loser of the Bradley/Devon fight. Moving up to fight Berto would be moronic at this point.
I disagree that he would have an easier time with Bradley. I disagree greatly with that.
It isn't because of Bradley's power that he would trouble Khan, it is Bradley's counter punching in combination with his smart aggression and 'shock' power. He is a very good aggressive counter puncher with decent speed and straighter punches then Maidana. And one of Bradley's money punches is a counter left hook which Khan has been troubled by in the past.
I think Bradley is very rough style wise for Khan. Khan would have an easier time with Alexander than he would with Bradley
Re: Khan potential for greatness... or disaster
In response to Bilbo, where did I say his record was bad? I said it wasnt that great. Its good but I dont think it puts him a class above anyone right now in the top 10. First off Kotelnik is decent that was legit. The Barrera fight was bs, Malignaggi is a feather fisted poof, and Maidana is highly overrated for his Ortiz win.

You are usually spot on with most topics mate but have a little think about what you have said.
Khan has two wins over the current number 4 and 5 in the division but according to you his record does no put him a class ahead of any of the other top ten. :-\
Re: Khan potential for greatness... or disaster
Well we will find out soon enough once we see what Paulie looks like in his next fight as well as Maidana, if he fights anyone decent. I think Paulie is on the slide, and Maidana can be outboxed.
