....Well Wlad has beaten plenty of southpaws recently: Byrd, Thompson, Sultan, Chagaev.

I doubt it would affect him to be honest

Truth being told, he's going to do what he did against Valuev. If he was scared of his power, i don't see him being gung-ho against Wlad.

I think it could be something similar too. Only thing is I don't see Wlad standing up to the shots Valuev did. The first shot haye hit Ruiz with nearly had him out cold and he has a far better chin than Wlad. I do think it will be far more entertaining than the Valuev fight though, 2 chinny power punchers has to make for drama surely??

NEW RULE: You can't say someone has a good chin when its never stood up to anyone with power.

Ruiz LOSS KO 1 to David Tua - proven heavyweight power puncher (only one he ever fought, lest you count the WBA title holder)

Nicolay Valuev has NEVER fought a proven heavyweight power puncher but I saw Monte Barrett rock him pretty good as well as Taras Bidenko (not big punchers).

I'm not saying Wlad's chin is granite...I'm saying comparing Wlad's chin to Valuev's or Ruiz's is not apples to apples given who they've fought.

He'd do better switching stance around Klits outstretched arm at some stage and moving in with the full reply right there, bang off side and off balance.

Yeah, a lot of fighters switch stance and then do things off it. But switching stance can actually be used as a form of offense or defence. Good thinking.

Haye will fight on the back foot like Groves did, negate Wlad's jab as Haye did against Audley and try and frustrate Wlad in making a mistake so that he can catch Wlad. I think the tactic will work for a bit but will get caught come in and get stopped.

Yeah, Hayes good at pulling his front foot around behind him and throwing the rear stronger arm as he does so that it becomes the front arm on landing and his heads moved out of range.
