You're out of touch.
Morales is ranked in the top 10 at lightwelter by The Ring. He is about to become WBC champion.
Khan-Morales will be a big selling unification fight between two of the worlds elite lightwelters. Fact.
That is political and corporate manipulation, but agree with Khan's lawyer and advocate namely Bilbo, that Amir is not ducking anyone in the division.
Exactly. Why is Morales fighting for a title on the back of a loss. Surely, he goes down a few places. And it is a basic fact, that Morales lost to Maidana and Maidana had Khan on queer street, that would have been the most logical matchup.
maidana already has Gurrero lined up. Have you considered the reason morales is being pushed forward, and being helped along by being allowed to fight for a title is because the fans want to see this fight?
The promoters are interestd in numbers and putting together fights that the most number of people want to see. That's Khan vs morales, with a chance for Khan to become the Mexican legend killer. Hopefully he can then add Marquez to his list of conquered.

What a load of clap trap! The Mexican legend killer? All half a decade after Manny last fought them and all clearly way beyond their primes. Utter tosh and pigswill.
As for demand for this fight, I haven't seen any polling or anything of that ilk, I'm sure people would prefer a Maidana rematch over beating a Morales who hasn't won big since the middle of the last decade.

Maybe Amir will fight Prescott once he starts to see him going downhill the same way he has picked other oponents and now Erik Morales.

That is harsh, Prescott lost a couple of fights so could not justify the fight, especially losing to Mitchell. Prescott has some wins but Amir is looking at bigger fights. It is up to Prescott to raise his game as he has fallen behind Amir.
