I don't know why the knee was illegal, it wasn't the spine, it was more to the side. Iv seen elbows to the same area be allowed.

To be fair, I don't care if he does have to use an illegal move. Everyone harps on about how great Ward and Hopkins are as fighters and nearly every round they are involved in they are using dirty tactics but they are crafty;)

What MMA fans don't like about Mayorgas first bout is the fact he spent most of it on his back in holds he shouldnt have survived but he did and found a way to make Tiffer scream in pain;D

If this was a boxing match, Mayorga would level Level;D His boxing is shit!

Same as Kimbo, he did look quite dangerous in those shitty street fights but when you see how he's getting dealt with by journeymen you have to ask where the street fight opponents special needs?;D

Hes looked nervous and quiet when face to face. He even clapped Mayorga as he came out at the weighin wearing his matador outfit, the same one he wore at the De La Hoya press conference;D

Tapped out like a bitch as soon as it was applied, didn't even try to fight it for a second.

VERY disappointing, but I figured there was a good chance something like this would happen.

Level didn't even try to throw a punch against Mayorga, just rushed him for the clinch go the takedown, easily fended off a terribly applied choke by Mayorga then got the guillotine as he scrambled to his feet.

Mrtinez shit his pants and went straight in for the hug where Mayorga still managed to land a few punches. He couldnt do alot with Mayorga while Mayorga was on his back. Mayorga managed to get off his feet but as soon as he got up Martinez got him in a choke.

Boxing match pr stand up fist fight and it would have stopped earlier in the other favour;D

Im annoyed for Mayorga but its not like it wasn't expected.

I cant find a video but Mayorga fought MMA again last night, he lost but this time on points against a thai boxer.

The Costa Rican Sergio Ortiz defeated the Nicaraguan Ricardo El Matador Mayorga during the evening of mixed martial arts that developed during this Saturday night in the gym of the sports city of Hatillo.

Ortiz, 24 years old, defeated El Matador at style fight muay thai (Thai Boxing technique).

As the national strategy used the legs, while his rival - Boxer retired from Nicaragua and three times world champion used his fists.

The tico won by split decision, as the jury was who had the final word to determine the winner.

' Mayorga deserves a rematch because it surprised me. It was not an easy fight. I would go to Managua', said the Costa Rican after being declared the winner.

For his part, El Matador congratulated Sergio Ortiz and said every day to learn more and feel better about the ring.
