1. Povetkin initiated a lot of the clinching and holding as well, especially in the mid to later rounds.
2. Wlad has fought around 65 times or so, why is his whole career judged on one performance?

I have not quite 'got' the Klitschkos, particularly Wlad, like the German market has.
After what happened early on this Century, it has become increasingly clear Wlad has doubts about his punch resistance, and this has culminated in last Saturday's fight.
But that all said as far as boxing goes Wlad comes across as an articulate, intelligent and thoughtful man, I can see far, far worse role models.

Lennox Lewis is not a role model. He was a far better, more entertaining and braver boxer than Wlad though.
Well... Lewis was pretty much a "Grab and jab" guy himself. I've rarely seen him bring excitement to the table. Not more than Wlad and if so, really not more significantly.

Woah there Betty Bitter Britches, Pabon was agreed upon as the ref by Wlad, the WBA, and Povetkin "his ref".....Wlad has had 64 fights now, he's seen numerous refs including Mr. "He didn't allow Hatton to maul Floyd" Joe Cortez, and Wlad hasn't had trouble with them. I am a big fan of both brothers and I freely admit that Saturday's game was utter crap. I was so surprised Wlad couldn't keep him off with his jab. I have no clue what the hell occurred that night.
