They are selling PPV.
Froch hasn't been this angry since someone stole his bicycle.
What amazes me is that this sold out all 21,000 tickets in 11 minutes and this was a while back and before a lot of the mind games started by Groves, I know Froch is well supported but I dont recall even the Bute fight selling that fast?
Groves doesnt have any fanbase at all that im aware of so seems Barry Hearn was right when he said boxing in the UK is back on the rise at last.
Maybe the UK public have realised that 2 men rolling around the floor for 15 mins in a cage aint what 2 men fighting is all about and come back to where its really at - the square circle ;-)
That made me chuckle;D
He is one of those who isn't as quick witted as he thinks he is and cant fire back with anything witty. Like Haye with Fury;)
Imagine if it was Tyson Fury sat next to Groves. We wouldn't be thinking how odd it was to see someone like Froch silenced we would all be cracked up listening to the retorts back and forth;D
If they were the same weight, imagine the press conferences between Fury and Mayorga.

Yes makes u wonder did Groves get an advantage or did he sign his death warrant.
Re: Froch - Groves to meet on Sky Ringside special
Froch was so mad he was about to cry.
Re: Froch - Groves to meet on Sky Ringside special
This could be a really good fight, don't know how Groves will handle it more than anything but it can't hurt to talk yourself up. Froch does seem a bit rattled in that video, and he's a bit of a cunt isn't he. Doubt he'd let this affect him in any big way, but he's obviously pissed and Groves isn't an easy opponent for him anyways.
It's all on Groves to show what level he is really at and what kind of chin he has for one thing, but he has the right kind of style to beat Froch imo. He'll have to be smart and have done a lot of work, but he does have some tools Froch won't like. If Froch can cut off the ring and get to him it might be curtains early like the Bute fight though, I have no idea.
Re: Froch - Groves to meet on Sky Ringside special
People forget Groves is prone to cuts and he has been put down and hurt a number of times. We are not talking about someone who has the skills of Andre Ward or the chin of Kessler.

Youv got a good point.
I can see Groves giving Froch problems but on past performances against the likes of Anderson and Smith how does Groves stop Froch?
The only way I can see is to do what he did against DeGale. Fight like hes in against Mike Tyson and back peddle and skirt tye ring, much like Haye did against Valuev.
As long as Froch forces the action and starts quick again I have a hard time seeing Groves win. I could still see Groves giving Carl problems until the 7th or so and then downhill from there.

He was troubled by it, the only reason he didnt get in any more trouble is because its Smith! A fighter who should be a middleweight and who struggles with british level fighters.
Had that been Froch it would have been similar to the Bute ending!
If and when Groves gets hurt Carl can keep pouring it on and its doubtfull Groves has the wherewithal to hurt or stop the oncoming rampage from one of the fittest and toughest fighters in the world.
Groves was even in a little bit of trouble at the end of the first round against Johnson, who he had been throwing everything at!;D
