What I did not like was the fact that Whitaker, Quartey and Tito would not fight another until ODH came and smash their cartel.
Tito was scared of Jose Luis Lopez too.. I clearly remember him avoiding Maestrito..

Trinidad always had trouble with the jab. Oscar controlled him with it. Hopkins set him up with it. Winky Wright owned him with it. Quartey jab was better than all 3. Quartey might get careless and get dropped in the fight. But as long as he kept pumping his jab he wasn't losing.Quote:

I agree Tito was the best but it was only after ODH moved up did it all move around.
I think Tito would have beaten Ike but it would have been a great fight. Tito would have slaughtered Lopez like he did Campus which was one of the most entertaining fights ever.
I don't care really if Oscar fought opponents later on then Tito because he started his career at 130 and was not at the weight yet. Not mention when they fought Oscar total out box him and got robbed worse the Lewis vs Holyfeild the first fight any how i Still don't think Pac can box like Oscar to win it.

One of the coolest short hooks I've seen involved Tito Trinidad. Yory Boy Campas caught Felix with a very short abrupt left hook, knocked him down. Tito got up and won, but it was a very cool shot by Yory Boy. Yory Boy was young and good and undefeated at that time. So was Trinidad...
Wonder if anyone ever made a gif of it somewhere?

.. I've never seen it ! It happened at a time when I was tuning in to a lot of Boxing, but I missed that one. You'd think I would've seen it in a replay somewhere by now though, but I don't remember seeing it.
