Good god wtf is going on in this forum Mayweather has a close fight and now were as bad as fucking sherdog fucking a. I don't care for the guys but they both are atg i mean lets be real hear. Wlad regardless of earlier loses has been hw champ for 10 years atg just for that. Mayweather has been fighting at championship level for 17 years had few close decisions you could argue but thats it he is a atg. I mean people are saying how much Mayweather slowed down yet he dodge over 600 punches form Madina and landed more with throwing half as much. I mean the man not prime anymore but he won a clear fight with anyone who has a brain and can judge against prime champ at the age of 37. I can not believe how bad it has been since fucking saturday i mean we have new troll members just because of the fight and people i liked on the forum lost there minds.

I'm not comparing Wlad and Floyd, they're 2 different fighters, 2 great fighters.
The people who seem to dislike Wladimir are the Floyd fans...why they dislike him is beyond me.
Sure Wlad's style isn't for everyone but regardless of style his record speaks for itself and it is a great one. Lots of fighters suffer losses at the ends of their careers, very few rebound from losses to become great.
I've not hated on Mayweather 1 bit, I just imply he's not like a few of the old timers and I catch hell...why? Again I don't know, I call the guy great but apparently it's not enough for a few of his fans. I'm not one of the guys saying Floyd is garbage...I'm saying the guy is great and still it's not enough, so fuck those dudes.

I regret making this thread.
The idea of a white boxers being "great" is very upsetting to black supremacists like cyclone and p4pking, since they deeply believe only black boxers can ever be great and all non-black boxers are inferior.
Perhaps the mods should lock this thread.
YOU are the one that feels Black fighters are superior....hence your constant state of butt-hurtness.;D
It fucks with you that Vlad will NEVER be on the level of those great Black heavies.
Vlad got blasted unconscious by losers that couldn't topple Ali's spit bucket and Vitali QUIT because an Ex middleweight was WALKING HIM DOWN and ROCKING his sorry ass.
Don't give me that shit about an injury because he was throwing with both hands all night.
Even if he were hurt that was still no excuse to quit.
Ali had a broken jaw...he didn't quit.
Floyd didn't let a shoulder injury punk him out.
Kirkland tore his shoulder to shreds...yet he didn't BITCH OUT like a foreign robot.
The Klits lack toughness and heart...typical..
In what universe does any of this post make sense?
Anybody fighting on with those fucking injuries they either were bareable or they're a fucking idiot! Probably why they reigned so long, cause they looked after their health.
"Walked down by a middleweight", well Byrd was a HW when Vitali fought him and Vitali won nearly every single round. Quite the walkdown that one! lol
Wlad is technically and record speaking already beyond the level of those black heavies, look at him!
Vitali became a 1-handed fighter at the end of Byrd fight and that was a pretty sound excuse really. (Although I do agree he should never have quit against Byrd.)
Wlad was sparked out by 2 fighters who would have both KO'd Ali easily, and by 1 other fighter who Ali might have been able to beat by UD!
It isn't racist at all, some ppl like all kinds of boxers. Nobody would deny Lennox Lewis is among the greatest right? But BLACKS DO deny Wladimir based on that (not always but there is a high percentage that do.)
I've never seen the same level of racial disrespect coming from the Caucasian community toward black fighters.
Once again you have exposed yourself as a complete fool!
Re: Eddie Chambers explains why Wladimir Klitschko is an all-time great
And how can you say that Vitali lacked toughness, he engages in shootouts and punches the living shit out of all of his opponents, wtf! Even the 2 that scored victories over him he still beat the shit out of!

Byrd's first pro fight was at light heavyweight in 1993 and his 4th fight in 1994 was at heavyweight. He fought Vitali in 2000.
Gennady Golovkin won Gold at light welterweight in the amateurs, but nobody calls him a "blown up light welterweight". Tomasz Adamek fought at welterweight in the amateurs. Even Wladimir Klitschko was in the "under 200" category for most of his amateur fights.
Billy Conn, considered one of Joe Louis' best wins, had his first pro fight at lightweight (135).

Yes let's not forget the great Billy Conn now! :D
Re: Eddie Chambers explains why Wladimir Klitschko is an all-time great
Agree! Cyclone is scum!
Colour means very little in the ring. All punches hurt equally no matter the skin.
That's the great thing about boxing. It levels the playing field of all men!
Re: Eddie Chambers explains why Wladimir Klitschko is an all-time great
i think we need to get back the original point of this thread which was wladimir explaining why eddie chambers is an all time great..

Ask Max all about that;D
Re: Eddie Chambers explains why Wladimir Klitschko is an all-time great
You meant the other way around..
Anyway why should we distrust Chamber's opinion?
There is good reason. By boosting Wlad he also boosts his own standing because he fought him.
But then Chamber's had a respectable career, knows boxing intimately and could very well be a good judge of such a thing.
This statement is very important, maybe Chambers, maybe not.. But..
"The ONLY reason the opponents of Wladimir Klitschko would not make it as "All Time Greats" is because they had the misfortune of existing in an era with a dominant champion who is just so unbelievably good at what he does, and wins all the time, that he left no chances for anybody else to really shine."
AND
"In an era which produced many "All Time Greats", those boxers may not have been REALLY that great because if they were then they would not have allowed many other boxers to shine so brightly!"
Lennox Lewis was an ATG. Mike Tyson was an ATG. Mike was firmly established only after another ATG (Holmes) was past it. Mike let no other fighter shine at the time he did his work to be established as an ATG. Buster beat him but was not an ATG and that began his slide. Enter Holyfield, another ATG. Holyfield's achievements which led to his ATG status did in fact overlap Lewis's. And a lot of that has to do with his CW career, his HW record is only 26-10!
Same as Vitali and Wladimir who are definitely ATG's, their reigns overlapping for obvious reasons too. This is typical.
1 ATG established in Mikes era,
2 in the 90's, early 00's
2 in the mid 00's to mid 10's.
There's nothing unusual about Wlad's opponents not making it to ATG status in the presence of dominant champs.
So I think Chambers is as good a judge of that as anybody!

Just to support Chambers being a good judge, he is been on the boxnation panel quite a lot recently and comes across very knowledgeable. I believe he would make will excellent pundit after his boxing career is finished.
